Bargain Bourne: Damon Delivers Biggest Bang for Buck

The inaugural edition of Forbes.com's "payback" list declares the Bourne films' Matt Damon to be Hollywood's biggest bargain, delivering $29 in box-office revenue for every dollar poured into his paycheck. (Damon was paid $26 million for the trilogy, which to date has drawn $850 mil in gross income.) Ocean's mate Brad Pitt places second with a $24-to-$1 ROI, followed by Vince Vaughn and Johnny Depp, each at $21.

Coming in at No. 5 and the top investment actress-wise is Jennifer Aniston, who gives her bosses $17 on the dollar. Hot on Jen's heels is one Angelina Jolie ($15).

I'm no statistician, but what I think this all means is that Aniston will either date Matt or Johnny next.

Then, she will probably go into seclusion after realizing that it really is her, not them. It's fun having you back Matt!

That's funny, Matt! Ah, to have that choice ...

Hope you enjoyed your vacation.

Aniston is such box office poison that she must be getting paid a dollar per movie to be number one on that list. Same for Vince Vaughn; he's the king of BOP. Supporting roles in big budget/big name films shouldn't count.

Tell us what you really think? Unfortunately there is NO substance to your claims! Give me some facts or move on!

As far as I can remember, Aniston's hits are Bruce Almighty and
The Breakup (and Along Came Polly?) which Jolie's were really only Tomb Raider and Mr. and Mrs. Smith. So I'm suprised that both rated so highly. Jolie was definitely the star in her hits, but Aniston wasn't really the main draw in either Bruce or Polly. Maybe I am forgetting some other movies that were very successful but in which the two played very minor roles and thus weren't paid much in terms of the overall profits of the projects.

I forgot Angelina had a supporting role in Gone in 60 Seconds, which I think did pretty well too.

Glad to see that Damon tops this list. He is a fine actor (ok, he's no DeNiro or Pacino yet but he's good) and he's not one of these losers you read about every week in the gossip rags. And whenever I see him interviewed he seems pretty humbled by all his success and really appreciates it. Plus he's hot as hell!

Matt's married. So I guess we can look forward to Johnnifer or something like that.

JA will NOT date Depp or Damon, as both are married, either by license or common law. JA has, and displays, class, integrity & intelligence.
Indeed, JA rocks the boxoffice.
