Barbara Walters Lands First Q&A with Scandal-plagued Don Imus
Barbara Walters has landed the first interview with disgraced radio shock jock Don Imus since he was fired last April. The I-man will talk with Walters on her annual 10 Most Fascinating People of 2007 special that airs Dec. 6 on ABC.
Imus is making his return to radio on Monday, when he takes over the morning slot on Citadel Broadcasting's WABC. CBS Radio and cable outlet MSNBC canned him after his racist and sexist on-air comments about the Rutgers women's basketball team. — Stephen Battaglio

The special is on ABC and Imus is going to be on WABC! Excellent cross(burning)promotion!

Well, then we know he won't be the Most Fascinating of 2007. (Hannah Montana, perhaps?)

Exactly who has been clamoring for an interview with Don Imus?
I'm with you, TV Gord. This reeks of cross promotion rather than actual public interest.
For years I flipped past Imus' show on MSNBC and wondered who in the world watch watching this guy. (I'm still stumped by that question.) I live in a Red State (who get all the heat when someone acts ignorant, but I digress) and I don't know anyone who watches this guy.

Rosie O'Donnell LOL.
Barbara Walters' yearly special is called "Most Fascinating" NOT "Most Pathetic."

just an FYI..... WABC has nothing to do anymore with ABC or Disney... they just share the call letters... Completely different owners....
So... there is no cross promotion...

Doug Henning, what with you being a master of illusion and all, you will appreciate this:
While WABC was sold to Citadel Broadcasting this summer, 57% of Citadel's ownership is made up of (wait for it...) Disney shareholders.
