Avril, Kelly Clarkson Targeted By SNL Music CD
The first CD of Saturday Night Live performances in nearly 10 years will be sold exclusively at Target beginning Sunday, says Reuters. Live from SNL! features 11 tracks from the past four seasons, including tune croons by Avril Lavigne, Kelly Clarkson, Maroon 5 and the Foo Fighters. (What is "foo," by the way? Always wondered.) Anyone looking for Ashlee Simpson's "live" performance need simply cue up any of her prerecorded CDs.
Plans are being made for a separate compilation of R&B/hip-hop SNL performances, as well as a DVD counterpart.
