For Amy Poehler, life is imitating art. The Baby Mama star is expecting her own baby with husband Will Arnett. It will be the couple's first child.

Poehler's movie-screen Mama, which also stars Tina Fey, hit No. 1 at the box office this weekend — not a bad dovetail with the big news. Her Saturday Night Live schedule should also probably help when she has a newborn. She recently told the Daily News that the gig is "a perfect New York job: It's crazy and loud and late and very hectic. But I'm always going home with the nurses when they're on the subway."

Arnett, meanwhile, has a movie in the works himself; he'll be appearing in When in Rome with Kristen Bell. Is it just coincidence that Poehler's playing an expecting mom in the movies? — Anna Dimond

Is it just coincidence that Poehler's playing an expecting mom in the movies?

*sigh* This qualifies for dumb question of the week, maybe even the month. What other scenario would you like to suggest, Anna? No matter how much one plans on having a child, it's not like scheduling a dental appointment.

Are you required to come up with a question to start the comments rolling with each item? Because, honestly, I could do without.

I've heard Poehler is a borderline cocaine addict. And she's pregnant? For the baby's sake, she'd better clean up, fast.

Congrats to Amy and Will! Oh, and Amy, I enjoyed you and Tina in Baby Mama. You both make a great comedy team on screen but then considering how well you've performed together so many years ago, that shouldn't be a surprise!

Is it just coincidence that Poehler's playing an expecting mom in the movies? Gee. Do ya think? Since the movie was probably filmed at least a year ago I would imagine it is a coincidence. Who's writing your questions Anna? The same person who, on Entertainment Tonight, identified a former vice-president as Herbert Humphrey?
