Alec Baldwin May Seek to Rock Your Vote

Alec Baldwin has a Golden Globe to show for his 30 Rock run, but what he one day might want to earn is your vote, should he seek political office. (Baldwin mulled a run for governor two years ago — before he left that nasty voice mail for his then-11-year-old daughter.) "There are other things I want to do [besides acting]," the eldest Baldwin bro shares in a 60 Minutes sit-down airing Sunday. "There's no age limit on running for office, to a degree." As such, the 50-year-old actor says it "is something I might do one day."

Baldwin once famously dubbed Dick Cheney a terrorist, only to recant the statement and instead call the vice president "a lying, thieving oil whore and murderer of the U.S. Constitution."

Well, he certainly is good at assessing a person's character and he does come straight to the point instead of wandering through meaningless rhetoric. It would be interesting.

Baldwin also "famously" once stated that he would pack his bags and move out of the country if Bush was elected. And we see how far he got with that one. Apparently he opens his big fat mouth a lot without thinking his words through first!!! Him moving out of the country is definately something I would vote for!!!!!

Alec Baldwin is one of our generation's most entertaining actors, and very versatile, he can do drama and or comedy, and has great screen presence, but as a human being , he is pond scum, doesn't give a crap about anyone other than himself and when he can't back up his outrageous claims, such as the one he made about Bush in 04, he just turns into a coward, the clincher for me was the way he treated his daughter, doesn't deserve to be a parent, i do enjoy his work ,but have no respect for the man himself, kinda the same way i feel about other actors like Redford, Clooney, etc. Baldwin doesn't have the stones to run for office, he would get crushed and his ego couldn't take that.

are you guys still bringing up his message to his daughter?
obviously you guys must be perfect if you've never said something you've regretted in anger before.

What a total loser, he never did move to Germany like he promised to when President Bush won back in 2000. He's a loud mouthed moron who shouldn't be elected to dog catcher, much less political office. I haven't watched anything he has done since his first opened his mouth on politics.

Wow... the truth. How refreshing! Baldin may be a jackass, but at least he's a jerk with a clue.

Listen the guy is a good actor, But no way would he get my vote, to say his call should be a non factor is just wrong, it shows his true character, Not only is he a Bully but he is a liar too, and no, "not everyone is perfect" but not everyone is going to be running for office either.
