Survey Says... Roker Could Be Ready to Feud

Today weatherman Al Roker could be in line to host an upcoming celebrity edition of Family Feud for NBC.

NBC and FremantleMedia North insist no deal has been signed, but Variety reports both sides have been in talks.

Today cohost Meredith Vieira already holds down double duty as host of the syndicated Who Wants to Be a Millionaire, and Roker has subbed for Vieira on the show from time to time.

He also hosted the quiz show Remember This? on MSNBC in the mid-1990s. — J.R. Whalen

Update: Celebrity Family Feud debuts on July 1 (8 pm/ET on NBC) with Al Roker as feudmaster.

I think he would be great as the host of the Feud.

Oo! Celebrity Family Fued. That would be fun. Is it real families like the Baldwins? (Umm...) Or TV families like the Camdens (oh my!)


I actually think networks should take classics like Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, soup them up with huge prizes (like the primetime Price is Right). That would definitely be fun.

Well it's official now, I saw the promos and he's totally on the show. I don't know if I like him but some of the celebrities they got lined up should make the show great.

I'm so glad they're bring this show back. Al Roker has officially been declared as the host now, and they've also decided all the celebrities for the first season. The best of the bunch seems to be the cast of the Office vs. the American Gladiators (although not technically a family). I love the Feud!

Al Roker gets on my nerves but this show is going to be so great it won't matter, I love the Feud.
