24 Finds its First Daughter in Jericho

Sprague Grayden, who never seems to be lacking for work — just last season, she supplemented her Jericho gig with a short run on Weeds — has landed a recurring role on the new season of 24, playing daughter to Cherry Jones' POTUS.

In addition (see what I said above?), Grayden will appear on the upcoming FX series Sons of Anarchy, says the Reporter. There, she will play a woman who puts pressure on her ex-con hubby to stay away from a motorcycle club. — MWM

She sure didn't get the job on her looks alone. This is the best they can come up with? Sorry but she was just OK on "Jericho" and not splashy enough for my wonderful "24".

Yes!!! Love Sprague Grayden! I just wish she would be the person who replaces Diane Farr on Numb3rs! She'd do well on that show!

I guess she is proof that good looks can trump a stupid name in Hollywood. Though she has people like Moon Bloodgood to make her name sound less stupid.

I love Sprague Grayden!! I loved her in Jericho and Joan of Arcadia. I'm so glad she is on another show that I can watch. I've missed her since Jericho left. You go Sprague Grayden!

Last year, she also popped up on PRIVATE PRACTICE in the episode where David Sutcliffe's character was introduced to Addison as a possible love interest.

So, since they already have the first half of 24 shot, does that mean that she won't appear until the second half of the season?

I never watched Jericho so I am not that familiar with Sprague Grayden, but she sure looks like Cherry Jones. If looks alone meant anything then the casting would be dead on. 24 is fabulous and so is Cherry. I can't wait! Good luck Sprague.

I've liked Sprague ever since she was on John Doe. I liked her on Jericho too. Maybe they'll give her a boyfriend on 24--I was disappointed she didn't end up with Jake on Jericho.
