Who Is Your Favorite TV Pet?

A few weeks ago we asked you to name your favorite cute and cuddly kids on TV. In that spirit, we're looking for more cute and cuddly — but this time we want to hear about the animals on the boob tube.

Sure dogs like Digby from Pushing Daisies (pictured) and Eddie from Fraiser are man's best friends, but don't forget the other members of the animal kingdom, like Marcel the monkey from Friends. There are so many choices, and we want to hear them all!

Backup from Veronica Mars. What a great dog! He didn't have a huge role, but he was always there when Veronica needed him the most!

I loved the cat on "Early Edition." I adore dogs, but cats are my first love, and you hardly ever see them on TV shows (I know, very possibly because "dogs come when they're called, cats come when they feel like it.") Still, it was a really cool cat on a great TV show.

I've got a tie for Digby and Backup. :) With Murray from Mad About You coming in third.

Why is it I can't think of any shows with cats? Other than Salem on Sabrina the Teenage Witch, but he doesn't count.

Murray and Backup are my canine favorites, but I did have an affection for Fred, the cockatoo, from Baretta.

Definitely Fred the cockatoo and Petey from The Little Rascals, (although Our Gang didn't start out on TV, that's how most of us came to know them).

Ok,I might be showing my age here but what about "LASSIE" - "Mr Ed" - and
"Flipper" they all made me want a pet.

I have to agree with Backup from VM and Digby from PD - and at least the Brady's had Tiger for more than one episode (poor Fluffy, we never got to know you .....) But what about Spot from the Munsters ?
