Biggest ratings match-up is by far the Tuesday 10pm slot. L&O:SVU Vs Without a Trace. I would take SVU any day.

Mondays at 8PM:

Chuck vs. Terminator vs. Gossip Girl vs. Comedies (Biggest competion prob between Chuck, Terminator because they go for similar demos while GG already did fine against Bionic Woman type shows and DWTS and comedies)

What am I watching: Gossip Girl and Terminator

Mondays at 9PM
Prison break vs. Heroes (but Heroes gonna win easy)

I can only speak to my own tastes, since the tastes of other people are often bewildering to me (reality shows, Gossip Girl and Grey's Anatomy being among the things I just don't get). For me, the biggest competition is Tuesday night. That's right, the whole night. In each time slot there are at least two shows that I have some interest in (and I don't have a DVR).

At 8 o'clock its NCIS vs. House. House is going to win this battle for me unless the show somehow becomes unbearable. I've always watched House regularly, while I was already used to missing NCIS for other things (like Gilmore Girls).

At 9 o'clock there are two new shows I'm curious about (Fringe and The Mentalist) with a third I'd kind of like to sample at 9:30 (Kath & Kim, obviously). At a guess, I'd say The Mentalist will win my viewership. Between Fringe and The Mentalist, I found the preview for the latter more appealing. And trying to watch Kath & Kim would just leave me with nothing to watch for a half hour, and I just don't care about it enough for that.

Finally, at 10 o'clock, it's between Eli Stone and Without a Trace. I do like Without a Trace, but this is really no contest for me -- I'll be watching Eli Stone. (I'm so glad ABC decided to give it a second season!!!)

I only have two other trouble spots on the fall schedule (though there are plenty of places where there isn't anything I want to watch) and those are Thursdays and Fridays at 10.

Thursday it's a battle of the American remakes of British shows with Life on Mars facing off against Eleventh Hour. If they were the original shows, I'd go with Life on Mars every time. I'm a little less sure about the remakes, but since I am quite fond of Colm Meaney, I'll give Life on Mars the early edge.

And on Fridays its Numbers vs. Life and I'm really not sure what I'm going to do. I suspect I'll end up watching Life live and then watching Numbers online, since I have had fewer problems with the CBS online videos than I have with those from NBC.

Friday nights this fall will be very sad without Moonlight. CBS has replaced it with something called The Ex-List. I wonder what 8 million fans of Moonlight will do?

Wednesdays are the only problem for me. With 2 tuners on my tivo I'm set for the rest. I gotta see Bones and Pushing Daisies. Knight Rider is a possible watch on the Saturday repeats(unless it gets canceled after 2 episodes like all the other new shows in the last 3 years that I liked) Old Christine is the one left out. I only just started watching it anyway so I guess it will be no big loss. The way Mondays look I'll have plenty of time to catch up on the Tivo.

After CBS cancelled Moonlight, I'm not watching that network. The only other CBS shows that I liked were Big Bang Theory and HIMYM, and I'll just borrow those from a friend, commercial-free. Other than that, it'll be NBC Mondays, Fox Tuesdays (ABC at 10PM), and ABC Wednesday and Thursday (DVRing Bones from Fox on Wednesdays). Fridays are usually DRV devoted to Sci-Fi, and the lonely Brothers & Sisters will get some attention on Sundays. The only real conflicts are Mondays at 8PM for me, with 4 0f 5 networks airing something I watch (or in the case of CBS, used to watch).

Mondays and Tuesdays look to be the worst for me - most other nights there's only 2 things (max) I watch on at the same time, so that's easy to handle :)

Mondays @ 8 - How I Met Your Mother, Chuck, Terminator *and* Gossip Girl?! WTF?!

9 o'clock isn't looking too hot either - Sam Who, One Tree Hill, Prison Break and Heroes. Maybe now would be a good time to finally break my Tree Hill Habit!

Tuesdays @ 8 - NCIS, House and the new 90210. Hopefully, as much as I want to love it, 90210 will tank because no way am I giving up the first two!

Everything else seems cool, although is it really fair to Eli Stone to put it up against two strong crime dramas?! I love that show but I don't see it winning over Without a Trace or SVU!

the only real problem i have is monday. 'the big bang theory' is a very funny show but 'terminator' is on the same time. what to do, what to do. tues and wed. nothing. thurs. '30 rock' and maybe 'life on mars', it seemed to get good press. now friday, friday has the best show on tv in 'life' and it is a must for me. actually i most often watch 'life' live then watch it again on the computer two or three times more. sat. sun. nothing. i'm easy to please.

No problemos for me! I don't see any conflicts - every show I'm looking forward to returning/to starting with is not in competition with another show I'd like to see.

My only complaint? Fox keeps moving Bones around, and now it's back to Wednesdays, and I have to work late on Wednesdays. Thank goodness for the DVR and TIVO.

Go, Fox! Bones, House, The Dollhouse, etc., etc., etc.

Just one request for Fox: take a show, pick a time slot, and LEAVE IT THERE!!
