Care to Get Lost with Me?

Damon Lindelof remembers the day clearly. Not long after turning into ABC a 23-page outline for a show that would be called Lost, his phone rang, on a Sunday. It was Lloyd Braun, who at the time was the president of ABC Entertainment. "I'm going to greenlight this show," Braun said. Lindelof's immediate thought? "Oh, s--t!"
That story and many more reflections on the serialized phenomenon concerning castaways, Others and others are shared in Lost: A G4 Special, premiering Friday, July 25, at 10 pm/ET on the G4 cable network.
Among the Losties sharing their views on the series' secrets and theories are Matt Mitovich (that's me), Entertainment Weekly's Jeff "Doc" Jensen and MediaWeek's Marc Berman. If you get a chance, tune in and check it out. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun!

Sounds great Matt!
I was surfing my TIVO guide the other day and discovered that Lindelof and Cuse both were writers for the TV show Nash Bridges - I had no idea of their past history.

cbee89, it says right in the article that it's on the G4 cable network. Now, I can't say that I've ever heard of this G4 network, but you could check your handy TV Guide listings to see if it's on your cable system.

Ranger99 Cuse was not only a writer for Nash Bridges, but also the creator of it.

Cuse was also co-creator (along with Jeffrey Boam) of "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr."

Kinda off topic but G4 is the network with the new show called 'Hurl' - Make people eat lots of food, put em on a machine that spins them, turns em upside down, etc and see who Hurls first.

G4 used to be all about technology and video games not so much as the years go on, its a cool channel if your into technology and senseless entertainment, mainly aimed towards guys imo.
I be watching it although not live since channel was taken of regular cable and moved to digital but I have ways around that.
It shall be Legen....wait for it

Excellent, Matt! Thanks for the heads up. I can't wait to find out what's in their heads for next season. Ever since Lost got its groove back, it's been Must See TV again. Oh, yeah!

Every time I see that name - Lloyd Braun - I picture George's dad ringing the bell cause Lloyd sold another computer (not), or Jerry chewing Lo Mein gum, and I get the giggles.

For those who try to find it via a Title Search, it is not found by the title listed in the article "Lost: A G4 Special" it can be found by the title "A G4 Special". I was worried when I couldn't find it at first. Hope that helps others find it.
