That's gonna suck with the revolving door of squints! I stopped watching House because of that "new team" mess.

You look handsome either way. :-D

Why is it that I can only watch the 30-second commercial and then Matt's MegaMinute never plays? This happens EVERY week! Is there really a MegaMinute or is this some nefarious marketing scheme by Oral-B toothbrushes?

Will someone out there do a quick recap for those of us who are either technologically impaired, hearing impaired, or me? I thought MiT was given the ax? Did I miss something?

Quick recap:

There will be a revolving group of squints that take Zack's place next fall, rather than choosing one regular replacement. I'm still not happy with the clumsy way that was executed.

MIT will air its remaining episodes starting May 28. A philanderer will wreak havoc in Elmo, someone's love interest will be rebuffed, a sexual fantasy will come true, and there will be a pregnancy.

Donna Mills will be on Dirty Sexy Money in the fall, as an old friend of the show's matriarch.

Matt - No glasses. Why hide those beautiful eyes if you don't need to? Can you still read the cue cards? Then you're good.

All -

Before we all quit Bones in a huff, let's give the revolving door of squints a chance.

Murphy Brown did it with glee with temp secretaries for the duration of the series and it was a hoot.

If Bones can pull off the same casting greatness, then the show should be ok.

I do think the Zack character was treated horribly and the Bones show wasted a good character/actor for a not so well executed storyline.

But let's give the Bones writing team a chance to prove themselves with next season's episodes before we all (as TV viewers) go on strike.

Matt - you are gorgeous with or without the glasses. Keep them off.

tvdiva, I've already given the Bones writers a chance. I've given them two seasons worth of chances, ever since the mysterious disappearance of the awesomeness that was Dr. Goodman and the equally mysterious appearance of the awfulness that is Cam. In those two years the plots have slid, the characterisations have slid, the humor has died a lonely death and all logic and passion and respect have gone out the window. The awful season finale just seals the deal for me -- show is now in free fall and I do not want to see what happens when it hits bottom. I used to love this show and these characters; better to wave goodbye now while they're still somewhat as I remember them.

You're welcome, RachelScribbles, glad I could do it.

I don't get the Cam hatred; I like her, but then again, I liked Tamara Taylor in Serenity so I'm probably biased. But I think that Cam has changed in her time at the Jeffersonian--at first, she was a "by the book" kind of person, but by this season's finale, she had loosened up quite a bit, witnessed by her laughing comment, "If you want to do one of your experiments, just say so."

I haven't written off Bones because I hate what they did to Zack; I'll still give it a chance next fall, but some of the magic has gone out of the show for me. Admittedly, I was feeling a bit put off before the finale because I didn't think that the post-strike episodes were very strong. I'll give them some more time to prove to me that I should keep watching, but they'll have to throw out some pure awesomeness after the crap story telling that occurred in the finale.

I hated the finale, but love Bones so I'm up for whatever they want to do next season. I still don't like the way they treated Eric Millegan, Zach, or the fans, and I think the finale was poorly written, but if I still want to enjoy the show I'm just going to have to accept it and move forward. I still think the writers are very talented and the revolving door concept sounds interesting.

Glasses or no glasses you are adorable, Matt. ;)

monkey65, I won't argue with you over Cam/Tamara Taylor because I realise it's a matter of taste and interpretation. From my POV the same shortcomings that made TT ideal for her role in Serenity and Lost -- she acts in a very mechanical manner that nearly screams deception ("Look! I'm acting!") -- makes it impossible for me to buy her as Cam. She sticks out like a sore thumb IMO in a show that relies on audience empathy with the characters in order to get past the often sketchy or unbelievable plots.

Also, good for you for giving the show one more chance. I figure there's one way that the whole Zach dilemma could be handled which would not make the show too painful to watch but all indications are that the PTB have no intention to go that route. In fact all indications are that the PTB don't even know there is a problem and are still patting themselves on the back for their clever salary cutting maneuver. I might tape the first few episodes as insurance but I won't be watching again until I have some sense of which way the wind is blowing.

Just finished watching my recording of Men in trees episode. My only question is why? Why have they cancelled this wonderful, well written show. Heaven forbid we have a show we can actually enjoy. Such fine actors. I am sure it will be replaced by another Non-Reality show of some kind.

I prefer you with the glasses. And I prefer you sitting back in the chair - face on. You were sitting so weird in your chair this webisode. If "anything" is feeling tender - get a pillow to sit on.

Wow, I can't believe that I didn't realize Tamara Taylor (Cam) was the same actress from Firefly/Serenity! I loved her in that series, but I have never really cared for Cam. Maybe it's the hair...

Love Bones, hated the finale.
