New Mega Minute Video Q&A: Jericho's Skeet Ulrich

The murder of Ravenwood weasel Goetz simply cannot be good for Jericho's Jake. Will our town hero take one for the team? In this new Mitovich Mega Minute video Q&A, Skeet Ulrich previews the fallout kicking off Tuesday at 10 pm/ET, and also ponders the CBS cult hit's uncertain future. Enjoy!

Very good interview. He looked happy to be there and gave great answers.

I hope TV Guide does more of these interviews and posts them.

Also want to give a thumbs up to the Cheers & Jeers Vodcast.

Noticed you still have the arm pointy thing going on. I guess I will just have to get used to that. *sigh*

Thanks so much for this Skeet Ulrich/Jericho interview. It's been a whirlwind (if short)season 2 - more exciting with each episode. Now, if CBS will only take the bold move to use the valuable web following this show has and give it a third season.

The fan reaction and "un"-cancellation of this show is a remarkable story! You'd think that anyone with a brain would use it as a text-book study for devising a new ratings system. Get with it. This is the way people really watch their favorite tv programs these days...on-line and downloaded to view at their convenience.

Regardless of Jericho's future, it's been a wild ride, and I cannot thank the cast, crew and producers enough for this wonderful story.

They are all the rage here, yes. Later this week I've got DWTS' Steve Guttenberg and Monica Seles, as well as Idol's David Hernandez. Judy Greer is dropping by next.

Same here.

Paley Fest stuff with Matt and Mike? Behind the scenes in the green room would be great.

Really looking forward to the Judy Greer interview. Love her. Not so sure about her new show, but will tune in for her and see if I like it.

Jericho is the best series to come along since M*A*S*H. If, God forbide, Jericho is cancelled for a second time and no other network picks it up, the attention of those who have fought so hard to keep this show on the air need to turn their efforts to urging the networks to find a better system than the Neilsen ratings. There can no longer be any doubt that those numbers are a complete misrepresentation of actual numbers of viewers to this show.

One day soon, America is going to wake up and suddenly realize that reality TV is mindless drivel, and what are the networks going to show then? Take a cue from the cable networks, stick with quality and give the viewers time to come to the show.

Thanks for the Skeet Ulrich interview. I'm one that is hoping that Jericho gets a 3rd season. It is the show that I wait all week to see.

Is it Tuesday yet?

Unless I'm intentionally watching a "love story", which is rare, I prefer not having much "love stuff" in a show so I don't miss it at all. More time for the "meat and potatoes" of the original premise is what I prefer.

I'm with pnk96722. And, of course, w/ Skeet: I'm not interested in the romantic storylines, or love triangles, or any of that crap. There are other shows if that's what you're interested in.

Great interview w/ Skeet (if too short). I'm glad to hear there were 2 endings shot. I'd love to see the one that ends with "to be continued"!!!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I urge everyone to either go to CBS.com (http://www.cbs.com/info/user_services/fb_global_form.shtml) and TELL THEM you want more Jericho, or at the very least go there and click on to watch the episode again. I don't care if you click it, and let it run while you make dinner or surf other sites. Every time it's downloaded, CBS becomes aware that people care about this show.

Many thanks to TVGuide and Matt for this Mega Minute!

As a fan of Jericho, I am happy to have it rightly recognized as an intelligent and thrilling "what if" scenario of our collective nightmares. While this shortened season did cut out a lot of the so-called fluff (like the love triangle mentioned in the interview), the show *definitely* hasn't lost its heart.

Here's to a possible third season: don't let us down, CBS! There are many years of quality stories left to tell in the Jericho world. If you're not watching Jericho, you are really missing out!

I'm going to be crushed if they don't show the cliffhanger. I've heard both Skeet and a CBS exec say they've never seen anything like it on TV. I do not understand how this show is not catching more attention. It's the best thing I've seen since Star Trek. I've gotten 4 other people hooked on it. I won't be watching much of anything if it gets taken off or doesn't find a new home. I'm done with tv if that is the case.

Can you make it so it will completely load and stop buffering throughout the
entire clip????? I couldn't understand anything. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!!!

jwdcreations: sometimes that happens to me. Not sure if it'll work in this format, but once I click "play," after a few seconds I hit Pause. Then it usually continues loading while the video is paused. I've done that on other sites, hope it works here too.

To those having trouble viewing the video, it might be because a lot of people are trying to watch it right now, which is a good thing because it shows our interest! I was having the same trouble, but I waited a few minutes, tried again (and again, and again) and it eventually worked.

Just a minor point about the "love triangle" stuff Skeet and some others mentioned, and I hate to pick a bone with Skeet, much as I love his acting and how he seems to be a nice guy in interviews, but I'm a lit geek and this needs to be said:

The "love triangle" stuff is all about character development. With the show's setup as it was in the first season, you need character development to care about what happens to these people.

This isn't a Law and Order type of show, where you have the crime, the detective work, the arrest and prosecution in a routine format each week. L&O is a good show and has its place, but that's not why I watch Jericho. As they proceed through unforeseen circumstances, I want to cheer for Heather's pluck, and to pull for Jake to come out of his funk, and to yell at the TV when I see Johnston, April, and Bonnie die because I liked their characters.

Hopefully, TPTB will eventually fully develop Jake's character, lead him out of his angst and choose the right part of the triangle - Heather. He's not ready for her yet, though.

My $.02, for whatever the going rate on thoughts is these days.

P.S. to the folks at tvguide.com: You mentioned in the video an interview with Sprague Grayden. Any chance of posting archived interviews/links for those of us who missed them? As a Heather fan, I'd be ever so thankful.
