Fans of The Nine: Got Burning Questions?
The "final" episode of ABC's The Nine was scheduled to break online Thursday, Aug. 30 (at ABC.com). If the non-finale finale left you with with any "burning questions" about the serialized drama — and I have to think it did — share them here and I may, just may, be able to track down the closure you crave.

This isn't a question but I wanted to THANK YOU Matt for taking my questions and other fans questions.
1. Why did Randall shoot Eva? Why did he shoot her with Nick's gun?
2. Were the writers going to get something more happening between Lucas and Lizzie?
3. If Tom and Malcolm were both involved did they both know each were involved? How did they both meet Lucas exactly?
4. Was it ever going to come out to the group that Malcolm was in fact involved?
5. Was Lizzie going to ever actually have another man in her life?
6. We know there is a connection or something between Lizzie and Lucas but why didn't she want SWAT to hurt him?
7. What was going to happen with Ed & Kathryn/ Kathryn & Nick.
8. What was going to happen with Franny and Jeremy?
9. Why did they say Nick was handcuffed the whole time when he wasn't?
Sorry for all the questions, I could ask so much more since I was addicted to the show. Again HUGE THANK YOU Matt.

Thank you for taking our questions! Maybe it will help us get some closure. This was my favorite new show of the year and I'm still bitter about it. In addition to the questions already asked, I'd like to know:
1. What happened to Kathryn? Why was her hair chopped off (and put on Randall's belt) and her lip split? Why was she isolated from the group when the SWAT team came in?
2. Why did the SWAT team come in when it did? Eva had been shot over an hour earlier.
3. Why did Lucas back off when Randall was about to rape Kathryn? What did Randall say?
4. Were there any other big shocks headed our way?
5. What was Nick's plan to end the standoff? How did it go wrong?

I'm sorry this well-made (but mistreated by ABC) show never caught on with audiences. The last few episodes (the two ABC actually aired this summer plus the remaining four online) were some of the best TV episodes I've seen all year. It would be fantastic if you could get some answers from the producers. I'd really love it if they could reveal the entire plan for the season, but I have a few specific questions. (Spoilers ahead for anyone who hasn't watched all the online episodes and still plans to do so.)
1) Was Malcolm going to confess his involvement to his wife? Was he really going to turn himself in? How would the rest of the group react?
2) What happened to Kathryn's hair during the bank robbery?
3) It appeared in the last episode that Franny and Jeremy were over. Was he going to get back together with Lizzie? Speaking of romance, what was in the future for Nick and Kathryn? (At least we got to see one kiss between them!)
4) How seriously was Lucas injured in the jail attack orchestrated by Randall? What was the fallout from that? And what was going to happen with Lucas's trial, once Lizzie refused to testify for him? Was the trial going to take place during season 1?
5) Why exactly did Lizzie and Lucas have such a strong connection? What else happened in the bank that viewers don't know?
6) Was the DA election going to occur during season 1? Would Kathryn win?
Okay, that's a lot to answer, but thanks, Matt, for at least attempting to get us some answers. The failure of "The Nine" is probably my biggest disappointment of the 2006-07 season (well, aside from the debacle that "Grey's Anatomy" has become). I thought it was a great show with a great premise, and I'm sorry it didn't work for whatever reasons.

Great last ep, and what a moving final scene.
3 questions:
Would Malcolm have ever turned himself in/confessed to the group?
Would Malcolm have ever turned himself in/confessed to the authorities?
Say...5 years from now, who would be the lasting romantic partnerships of those we've seen on the show? Are Nick and Kathyrn together? Franny and Jeremy? Jeremy and Lizzie? Lizzie and Lucas (SUCH chemistry!)?
Thanks to the creators for such an interesting show!

I think this show really hit its stride in these last few episodes and wish the network had given it a little more time...
My burning questions -
What happened to Kathryn in the bank? Why was her hair cut off?
Did Malcolm turn himself in?
How did Malcolm get involved with Lucas to begin with? Did Tom get him involved?
Did Lizzie end up testifying for Lucas? (I just had a sense she may change her mind)
Would Kathryn be elected DA?
Did Lizzie and Jeremy get back together?
What were the implications of the prison attack on Lucas?

My favorite show of the year cancelled =( Okay, I have a few questions...
-How did Eva get shot? Please tell me it was while she was saving everyone else and she died a hero!
-How would season two have unfolded? The trial? Five years later?
-What would the season finale have been like?

4) Why did Nick get re-handcuffed?
5) Does Kathryn officially dump Ed for Nick? If so, does their relationship (and perhaps his gambling addiction) affect the DA race?
6) Does Kathryn win the DA race?
7) What is the extent of Lizzie's connection to Lucas?
8) Does Lucas flip on Malcolm? Does Malcolm confess?

This show was great. Unfortunately the best episodes were the last several so no one saw them. Well acted, well written. Yet, According to Jim is coming back?! And What About Brian came back last season after being not well received the season before.
I have all of the same questions. Matt, will you be trying to answer them any time soon? Can you suggest a TV movie?
