Bill O'Reilly Goes Nuts

We always knew Fox News anchor Bill O'Reilly could be a bit… well, let's just say abrasive. But we had no idea what an extremely short fuse he had until now. In this clip from back in his Inside Edition days, the host absolutely flipped his s**t because he couldn't grasp what the closing phrase "play us out" meant — so he decided to verbally abuse the crew with a temper tantrum. Quite the drama queen if you ask us.

That didn't look like him to me. You liberals just say anything. Bill is more respected than any of you.

Shame on TV Guide for digging up this "very, very old" video and sending it out on an e-mail!!! I should cancel my subscription to your magazine now!!! O'Reilly is more respected that most in the media--I agree with others here--was this a slow news day.

What are you people smoking?

No one respects Bill O'Reilly -- either as a journalist or as a human being!

I think that video is hilarious, and it's completely consistent with what has been known about O'Reilly for years -- he's a hot-tempered, verbally-abusive mental lightweight who probably has to have the crew explain lots of things to him.

For God's sake, a few months ago, he got into a shoving match with an Obama staffer! O'Reilly is a total clown.

And am I the only person who remembers Loufah-gate from a few years ago?

What a douchebag.

Don't tell anyone, but the dead giveaway is the part were the guy says
"I'm Bill O'Reilly"
And of course it's not like his show would ever use an embarassing old video of any public figures.....;)

Oh, please! How far back did you have to go for this little, meaningless, outtake jewel? I mean, it was back in the days of Inside Edition and when O'Reilly still had hair, for goodness sakes!
I know the MSM is laden with liberals, but I didn't know a supposedly apolitical, entertainment pub like TV Guide apparently is, too. Shame on you!
And, for you comment posters who wrote things like, who watches this guy anyway and said other personally disparaging things, you should remember the old saying: You may be entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to your own facts.
Are you ready for some alliteration? Well, the FACTS are that, whether temporarily a temper tantrum tyrant or not, O'Reilly consistently, convincingly and conclusively crushes his competition in viewership numbers and loyalty.
Go to TVNewser.com and check it out for yourselves. And I believe what really counts in the TV biz is the numbers, is it not? So if O'Reilly is quite the drama queen (and, by the way, no, we didn't ask you), then TV Guide must be quite the double-standard, seemingly apolitical pub which actually has the same old Hollywood liberal agenda. Too bad. Just because you report on the elitist Hollywood crowd, doesn't mean you have to become them.

No one is disputing facts here. It's hard to dispute that O'Reilly still gets good ratings.

The question being asked by many people here (and elsewhere) is, What kind of person puts stock in this clown?

Obviously, it's a particular kind of person who turns to Bill O'Reilly to help shape their opinions (or have them reinforced).

Having watched O'Reilly quite a bit -- I like to know what the enemy is up to -- I think it's fairly easy to imagine what kind of person would think that O'Reilly is worthy of respect and admiration.

I don't want to be rude, but let me put it this way -- we aren't talking geniuses here. That's just my opinion.

(And I'm not referring to conservatives in general -- just the ones who give any credence to O'Reilly and his three-ring circus.)

And, regarding how old the video is -- anytime footage of a well-known person having a tantrum like that is found, it's going to be worthy of a mention on websites -- regardless of how old the video is and regardless of the person's political leanings.

So if O'Reilly is quite the drama queen (and, by the way, no, we didn't ask you)... - chufow

Well, I told you anyway! So there! Nyah nyah!

For the record, I don't sit around waiting for people to ask for my opinion. And, more importantly, it isn't your God-given right to decide when or if someone may give an opinion.

You appear to be spouting all the same old conservative propaganda, no doubt absorbed from years of faithfully listening to such braintrusts as Hannity, Limbaugh, Savage (and maybe even a little Dr. Laura thrown in, for that extra nutty flavor).

Yes, it's all there -- the evil "MSM," liberal Hollywood, the anti-conservative media agenda. Good job -- you worked it all in.

But wouldn't it be even better to think for yourself, instead of letting glorified carnival barkers do it for you?
