If you thought Sarah Silverman's "I'm F**king Matt Damon" was the most hilarious video you'd ever seen, wait till you get a load of what Jimmy Kimmel did to strike back last night during his post-Oscar show. Not only did he whip up a ridiculously brilliant video featuring Matt Damon's "other half," Ben Affleck, as his love interest, but he also went on to recruit what appears to be all of Hollywood to serve as backup singers. Robin Williams, Don Cheadle, Cameron Diaz, Lance Bass, Josh Groban, Harrison Ford — it’s an endless list! Brad Pitt even makes a cameo as the Fed Ex guy. All we can say after watching them walk away together in their cut-off short-shorts? Awesome. Just plain awesome.
**Note: If the video is loading slowly, sit tight — a lot of people are trying to watch this at the same time!
And if you don't remember how this all started, check out Sarah Silverman's "I'm F**king Matt Damon" video below.
Your take: Whose video do you think was better, Sarah’s or Jimmy’s? We love Sarah’s and the fact that she came up with this whole thing to start with, but we have to admit, Jimmy outdid himself on this one! Thoughts?
Both videos were hilarious. I have to say it would be a tie.
I thought Brad was wearing Fed ex outfit not UPS. Also when Brad asked Jimmy "What do you wish for?" and Cameron Diaz making the finger gesture. Priceless.
That video is so freaking funny. I watched it twice last night, and cracked up both times. I didn't realize it at first that was Brad Pitt. My favorite part was seeing Harrison Ford sing "Im F*ing Ben Affleck." But both videos are so freaking funny.
This was very funny too, but my vote has to go with Sarah's for originality and sheer in your face audacity. Jimmy's is great and he certainly made use of his celebrity clout, but his was a copycat, beat the Jones' thing.
Whoda thought these two would turn out to be such an endurring romatntic couple that they could do this sort of public thing to one another as a goof.
I'm disappointed. I think Jimmy went too big (with the scope of the video, not his choice in sex partner). The "We Are the World" section is virtually inaudible, with all the bleeping. (Yes, I know that is the "joke.")
It's hard to pick the winner and that's a true testament to Jimmy's video. As difficult as it is come up with a good, funny idea, I think it's even harder to come up with something that can measure up to an original.
I would say Jimmy gets some bonus points for packing so much in that most people will probably view it at least twice to go back and check things ("Was that so and so?" or "THAT was Brad Pitt?").
I'm waiting for the response video from Mrs Affleck, Mrs Damon, Ms Flockhart, Ms Jolie and any other significant other affected. It would be hilarious if it involved the most famous Divorce Lawyers in the USA today and or Mrs Affleck and Ms Jolie Kicking the S@#t out of their respective partners.
