Loaded Hilton’s Refuse to Bail out Their Son
After sitting in jail for nine hours when he got busted for a DUI (and was bright enough to hand over a fake ID to the cop), Paris Hilton’s little bro, 18 year-old Barron, was bailed out. Not by his ga-gillionaire parents or sister. Instead, his friends had to pool together 20 grand to get him out. Perhaps the parents were trying to teach him a lesson. But rumor is that Paris’ excuse was she was en route to a party in Vegas. Funny how fast we forget what it was like when the shoe was on the other foot, huh P?
Your take: Do you think the Hilton’s made the right choice letting their son take responsibility for his own actions, or do you think letting him rot in jail was a bit extreme?

I always think it's best for the parents of any troubled youth to let the kid suffer the consequences of their own stupid actions. My mom did the same thing. My brother stole our car and got picked up for it, they called my mom after midnight and she said keep him, she's not bailing him out. Needless to say, my brother went on to college and is an electrical engineer making boo-koo bucks! We've got to stop spoiling our children and let them learn to take responsibility for everything they do!
