Heroes' Ali Larter Battle with the Bulge
How in the world this blonde bombshell could possibly consider the idea of losing any weight is beyond us. But Heroes' hottie, Ali Larter, admitted to Allure magazine that she once had to duct tape her thighs because she was told they were "a little too round." Poor thing even cried in her trailer when a film's director and producer told her to lose a few. Luckily, Larter developed a thick skin to the criticism and embraces her self-proclaimed "juicy" butt.

Those who like women with the builds of young boys are probably into young boys. This insanity is what has driven American Idol winner Carrie Underwood from a normal size six to a pre anorexic size 2. The insecurities of western white men have created body image disorders as a as predominantly white western female phenomenon.

It's sad that she sees it as 'business and nothing personal' b/c it's extremely personal!!!! Is a film going to suck if a woman looks like an actual woman? Is a photoshoot going to be a flop if a woman looks like an actual healthy woman? It's totally personal and extreme. Not to mention rude. Do they send such faxes to Brad Pitt, Harrison Ford or James Gandolfini if they put on a few pounds? No way. So why should they feel the need to do so to females just b/c of a few guys and insecure self loathing gals want to see a figure without curves. It's ridiculous and she's wrong about it being 'business'. Attacking someone's body---especially when there is NOTHING physically wrong with it---is wrong. And what's worse is that this pressure isn't placed on male celebs at all. Many do keep fit but I'm sure no one has ever faxed McConaughey's reps and asked that he get an even sexier eight pack when he has a perfectly fine six pack just for the sake of looking at the guy. For some roles, actors and actresses to bulk up and some must lose to fit the character but the majority of the time this isn't the case for actresses. So sad!
