OMFG! Gossip Girl Is Coming Back!

Granted, this sneak peek of the new Gossip Girl episode is only a whopping 15 seconds long, but it’s still the most sextastic video we’ve seen in quite some time. Enjoy!

Regarding the use of the 4-letter acronym in the ads:

I don't think the acronym used is age appropriate (as has been stated earlier) because I do not agree that there is any age at which it should be considered OK to dismiss good manners and be blatantly disrespectful to the millions of people who consider it a serious breach of behavior to blaspheme or besmirch the name of God or the Supreme Being.

How about if the acronym used were OMFF, with the last F meaning f**got? Or, how about OMFN, and I'm sure I don't need to actually type the offensive term the "N" stands for. What would be the "cool" locations to display THOSE in an advertisement? What would be the appropriate age for young people to learn to casually use such awful and disrespectful terms, and have that use approved of by the media and companies like the CW who exploit them to make money?

Good manners, sensitivity, and an honest desire to respect others' views of important matters like religion, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, etc. is an age-appropriate behavior anywhere, anytime.

I would just like to add that when I tried to originally post the above comment, TVGuide.com would not take it, and I received a message that some of the content could be considered inappropriate, and instructed me to edit. So I took out the "A" and the "G" in the word where you now see asterisks. I think that alone has proved my point.

If you don't like it, don't watch it. If the world tried to make everything so that not one single soul was offended, there would be no television, no plays, no movies, no sports, no entertainment as we know it. Should it offend me that the term "God" is implied in that statement when I'm an agnostic??? No, it does not. Just like Christmas does not offend me, or Easter, or anything else religious. It works both ways, and I think it's just plain silly to try and find offense in every last thing that's put out onto television. So as I stated earlier, if you don't like it, don't watch it!

How is using words that were created out of hate the same as using G? Besides, why couldn't the G be gosh or goodness?

Yeah, I'm with you Adam. I didn't get AriGato's logic (or lack thereof) either. ?<img border=">
