Paris Behind Bars: The Shrink Is In! Plus, a Sarah Silverman Slam

Paris Hilton had visitors on Tuesday, two to be exact: attorney Richard A. Hutton (whose name is fast approaching Howard K. Stern-esque ubiquity) and Dr. Charles Sophy, the psychiatrist who weeks ago pronounced the celebutante too "distraught and traumatized" by her pending jail stay to testify in an unrelated civil suit against her. The reason for the shrink's stop-by, let alone what was discussed (the Freudian implications of Lindsay holding a knife to her mouth, perhaps?) was not disclosed, however. "I don't discuss my patients," the New York Daily News quotes Sophy as telling reporters on his way out. Added Hutton, "Everything's fine."

Paris herself wasn't mum on Sunday evening at the MTV Movie Awards, where heathenly host Sarah Silverman took several merciless whacks at the pop-culture piņata. In response, Us heard Paris later say in the green room, "She's a f---ing bitch. I hate her." Whoa, do you talk to your fellow inmates with that mouth?

STOP!! Stop!! I thought you, of all people, would not fall into the "Paris in jail Day 3" trap. Are we going to start hearing how many bowel movements she has? And how many times she chewed each bite of food? She went to jail, and I thought that we could have a Paris break.

I assume US heard, not head, Miss Hilton's comments. Other than that, though, I'm with Bantling.

[Checking watch] Wow, snarking at the typos at 9:30 am already? What's the address for your own workplace again? ;)

Bwaaahahahaaa!!! With comments like that making me spit coffee at my monitor every morning, I can take daily updates of Paris in Prison. Oooh, do I feel the makings of a direct-to-DVD movie here?

For those of you who can still find this Paris in jail thing as amusing as I do, you'll probably find this link as hilarious as I do as well.

Hey Rachel Scribbles, I just read the Paris diaries.......hilarious, however I have no one to share it with since all my friends don't ever, ever, ever read anything about the spoiled bitch and I think she's the most annoying, bubble head in the entire world and never miss anything anyone writes about that worthless piece of humanity. She's the biggest joke on the planet.

Who really cares about Hilton? I sure don't! I am so sick of hearing about her and Lohan. Please give it a rest. Hilton broke the law and is paying the price for her actions. I swear just because she comes from money, she thinks she is above the law and everyone else! You know there are more important things going on in the world to be discussing, but for some odd reason, the media seems to be skipping over those stories, to bring us the "Paris Hilton Days in Jail." Enough already!! She is no better than anyone else! Give it a rest!

Peace!!

While what you wrote is true, this is an entertainment forum. We clicked on this link and read this story to amuse ourselves. If we want to read about the "more important things going on in the world," we will click elsewhere. Don't forget, this website isn't for blogging on world issues.

Plain and simple, Matt isn't going to be writing blogs here about heavy issues like Iraq, Iran, Darfur, etc. because he that's not what he writes about, nor is it what the TVGuide website is for. We bloggers come here to get away from the harsh realities of life. You know... for entertainment. If you don't want to read about Paris and don't find her incarceration in the least bit funny, then don't click and read here. Click and read a news website instead. And guess what, the media DOES write about the "important things going on in the world" in those news websites. You just need to pick the proper media outlets (hmm, maybe CNN, MSNBC, FOX, etc.) to read about them. TVGuide obviously isn't one of those.
