Miss Universe to Enter Heroes Universe?

In recounting the assorted opportunities that have come her way since being named Miss Universe last month, the Japan-born Riyo Mori says one "super" job lead might find her on no less than NBC's Heroes, playing Yaeko, a new character whom she describes as a love interest for one of the main characters. "I went to the casting audition and read a script in English and Japanese, and they said it was really good," the 20-year-old dancer tells the Associated Press. "So I hope I can be in the show."

While "conventional wisdom" may point to this beauty being pegged for poor, stuck-in-17th-century-Japan Hiro, Ausiello did tell us there is also a casting call out for a gay female cheerleader. Maybe Claire is the hero(ine) Yaeko will take a shine to? Hmmm....

Well, since learning that Peter is Claire's uncle hasn't stopped some of the "Plaire" shippers, maybe her being a lesbian would!

ewww. I wondered if the people who wanted Peter and Claire together in the beginning (even though he's MUCH older than her) were really grossed out when they found out he was her uncle. I hope at least some of them were.

I bet the characters miss universe auditioned for is for ando. I think I remember reading something about him getting a love interest. If not him, then definitely hiro. She looks way too old to play a high school cheerleader.

Claire is just a kid. That is so gross that people want to push her into a romance. What is this Grey's Anatomy? Don't answer, that's rhetorical. She is gorgeous, I agree - Hiro deserves her. I hope it's him!

But won't Heroes get in the way of her duties as Miss Universe. Despite what many think, she does have charity work to do around the world. She is definitely beautiful, though I'd pick last year's Miss Universe runner-up, also Miss Japan who I think is even more beautiful
