May I Cut In? Dancing Stars Bump Boston Finale
A little last-minute schedule shuffle has the two-hour Dancing with the Stars results show/season finale moving back an hour to Tuesday at 9 pm/ET, effectively booting the Boston Legal season-ender to May 29. (Seriously, does any other show suffer such repeated indignities?)
Airing at 8 pm on May 22 will be The Bachelor: After the Final Rose.

I'm so sick of Boston Legal getting treated like a disease. It always gets bumped. Tell me Matt, are they going to change their schedule next season or are they going to leave it on Tuesday nights?

Sigh. I've come to expect it with Boston Legal. You just always have to keep an eye on the schedule. I only wish the cast knew beforehand, because you know they'd totally break the 4th wall with that information.

em1102 - Matt indicates that the finale is May 29, unless ABC wants to bump it for "Bingo: Extreme Schedule Makeover".

This irritates me to no end. I have just this last year become a dedicated fan of this show. It's the cleverest show on TV for sure. So much so I'm shocked it's not listed as a TVGuide.com TV Show blog (I have the same issue with The 4400 as well). This show needs some respect.

Why does ABC hate this show so effing much. I think it was because Kelley made fun of the Isiah Washington fiasco. JERKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ABC = Another Broadcast Change. Boston Legal and Veronica Mars were bumped so many times I forgot what channel, time and day they appear. I thought they had both been taken off the air a long time ago. They've done the same with Men in Trees. Here's an idea. Run the summer replacements in the summer. Bump something no one watches.

Is a Bachelor-follow up really necessary at this stage? Sure, when the show was a big ratings draw, maybe, but now? The finale's, airing the night before, is already two hours long. A third hour, of purely "Bachelor reunion" stuff, is just pointless. Especially as it'll get killed against AI.

Boston Legal gets no respect from TV Guide for one thing. Few real articles about the show have been featured in TV Guide. Plus, It's never been the cover, nor does it have a blog.  Come on TV Guide! Show one of the best shows on the air currently the respect it's due. And don't even get me started on the on the idiotic decision to move back an hour the season finale of Dancing with the Stars to show The Bachelor. The Bachelor?? Such a waste of airtime. Complete trash-well most reality shows are. I usually tape L & O SVU to watch BL on Tuesday nights. I will be watching the L & O SVU finale on the 22nd. I agree we should sic Denny Crane on the powers that be at ABC - He'll take care of them.
No -we loyal fans don't want Dancing with the Stars to cut in on our BL.
