Dancing into the Finals: The Top 3 Power Rankings
As this week's cover of TV Guide asks: "Can anyone beat Kristi?"
Yamaguchi and pro partner Mark Ballas are waltzing into the final week of competition with 62.8 percent of the TVGuide.com reader vote, having rebounded soundly from last week's "slide." Still, as many have noted in the blogs, upsets have been known to happen, especially if Kristi's fans assume she is safe, or should Team YamaBallas stumble big-time.
Jason and Edyta, meanwhile, are shedding votes at the worst possible time, dipping this week to 14.7 percent on the TVGuide.com poll.
As a result, the upset potential is in the hands of Cristian and Cheryl, who with 22.5 percent enjoyed only a small gain in the wake of Marissa's exit.
Is the outcome a foregone conclusion? Or do some of you believe that Cristian could miraculously skate past Kristi in the finals?

No one can beat Kristi. She was the winner as soon as they announced the cast. Kristi is winning because she is Kristi. Her fans are the show's viewers. No way she loses unless of DWtS viewers forget to vote. That is part of the boredom of this season. Just waiting for Kristi's inevitable win. The producers got their female winner, but they pretty much had to cast Kristi (perfect female celeb-can dance, HUGE fan base) to get the win. Kristi and Mark are also not that memorable together. I will remember Kristi but not Mark as the winner unlike past winning pairs where I remembered the pro/celeb equally.
I just hope Cristian and Jason make it interesting. Sure Kristi will win, but at least make it entertaining.

You do not need to remember Mark. No offense, but it is about the celeb. Kristi is the best celeb and has been since week 1 and that is why she will win. Cheryl and Julianne stand out because they are entertaining and more interesting than Mark. They also had an amazing partnership with their celeb. Mark and Kristi come off more as a working pair versus entertaining.
No one will beat Kristi, I agree with vmfan77 about that point.

I think that Cristian and Cheryl have great potential to win this season, Cristan has grown a lot since the beginning and honestly he deserves to win with all the he's gone through (his arm). My votes go entirely to Cristian and Cheryl!

Kristi AND Mark should win Dancing with the Stars. They have been the most consistent couple the entire season and have a great partnership.
Speaking of which, if you like Kristi's dancing and what she has done on the show, how can you simply disregard Mark? He is the one who has taught her everything she knows about ballroom dancing and has been with her side by side throughout her journey. I think that he is a fabulous dancer, teacher, and choreographer (which the judges have rightfully given him credit for this season) and I can't imagine Kristi being paired with anyone else. I find it sad that being a sweet, humble, gracious person gets you written off as "boring" and "unmemorable" these days.
VOTE FOR KRISTI AND MARK!!

The judges' criticisms for the past few weeks are more on Mark's choreography and not praises. I can see Kristi with another pro and winning this thing hands down. Kristi is winning in spite of the 'look at Mark' choreography. Any other pro would put Kristi in more flattering costumes and we would not have to worry about guppy faces. Mark's choreography this season is similar to what he did with Sabrina. Jonathan, Louis and Derek have shown to be more versatile. Mark does that same spin move in every dance while Kristi just stands there.
When you cast the best dancer with the bigget fan base, how can anyone else compete? Then Kristi to give her to Mark? Why not Louis who is the best pro on the show for the guarantee celeb winner and not the guy who could not even make it past week 6 with last year's ringer. Mark's not winning, Kristi's winning and he is along for the ride.

The final 3 is great all good people, not just Kristi. Also other past winners were just as sweet and great as Kristi (Apolo, Helio, Emmitt, Drew, Kelly) and they made interesting t.v. to me.
Kristi will win. That was obvious since she was announced but holding out hope that Cristian will win. It would be great to see Cheryl win but also Cristian to prove you can build a fan base, improve and win. Also he is an actor, not an athlete so it finally a change after 3 seasons of athletes winning. If Kristi wins, why not just call it Dancing with athletes.

I really hope Kristi wins. Even when she was "sliding", she was still leaps and bounds ahead of the others. I love Jason and Edyta, and wouldn't mind if they took it. I think they are great together, and he has really surprised me! Cristian on the other hand, has been such a let down for me. If he hadn't garnered sympathy, I really don't think he would still be in the competition. He tends to stand there while Cheryl dances around him (with a few exceptions!), and it really irritates me!

Kristi is by no means a sure thing. No woman has ever won Dancing with the stars since the lowest rated first season (compared to the phenomenon it is now). It is the reason that Maks did not do this season.
Kristi should win because she is the best dancer with Mark Ballas who is an excellent choreographer.
I just wish that the viewing public would actually vote for the best dancer because usually the best dancer does not win.

Forget the fact Kristi is the best dancer, which she is as well. The biggest fan base decides the winner which Kristi has in spades. Mark is fine, not the best pro. But Kristi has that quality the female viewers can relate to and her fans overlap with the DWTS demo. The producers knew this when they casted her. She was the sure thing female winner.
Kristi will win. They are trying to make it seem like a contest, but Kristi's name has been on that trophy since they announced the cast.

Wow, Kristi and Mark's dancing tonight (May 19th) was definitely memorable, filled with excitement, spunk, fun, and chemistry. They took both dances hands down per all the judges. She is a mix of both Cristian and Jason; as Len said the "whole package." And for Bruno (whom she kissed and he loved it), she was worthy of the championship. Carrie Ann talked about "girl power." When you saw all three couples dance the cha-cha-cha one right after the other, you could really tell who was the best (per Carrie Ann).
I hope everyone is VOTING!! She and Mark absolutely deserve to win this season. The freestyle dance was nothing like the others; a mix of latin, hip-hop,lifts, aerials, etc. It was such difficult choreography done with grace and precision and energy - he's the best choreographer this season and a great dancer. She was the perfect match for him this season. They were absolutely perfect tonight - 60!!!
GO KRISTI AND MARK!!!!!!!!!!!

The judges said that with the cha-cha-cha dance off, you could tell which couple was better because you were watching them dance one after another.
Kristi and Mark were absolutely stupendous tonight (May 19th) for the finals. Wow-they won both dances hands down according to the all the judges.
Carrie Ann called it "girl power." She is a combination of both Jason and Cristian said Len, "the whole package."
For Bruno (who loved the fact that she kissed him before their cha-cha-cha) said that she is worthy of the DWTS championship. He also said that she was in a class of her own.
They executed both dances with passion, chemistry, excitement, energy and spunk; I thought both their dances were memorable. People couldn't stop clapping. You always want more after you watch them dance. And Mark's choreography this season has been the best by far. Perfect 60 score!!
Now the fans have to do their part. They deserve to win! Please Vote if you haven't yet. Help them win that mirror trophy ball on Tuesday night. GO TEAM YAMAGUCHI!!
