Is Julianne Hough's music career taking off? The two-time Dancing with the Stars champ sold 67,000 copies of her self-titled debut CD in its first week — "a robust start," says Billboard senior analyst Geoff Mayfield. "She has the third best-selling album on the Billboard 200 list and was No. 1 on the Top Country Albums." And get this: Since the album was released May 20 (the same day as the Dancing finale), Julianne couldn't hit the stores to buy it until the show wrapped!
After singing the national anthem at the Indianapolis 500, Hough is ready to swap her dancing shoes for a microphone, at least for a while; she will tour with Brad Paisley beginning June 11. "I have a whole new life," she says. "It's going to completely change and I couldn't be happier. I'm on this roller coaster and I'm having so much fun." — Shawna Malcom
