Look at Who's Dancing This Season!

There's a Broadway star. An NFL bruiser. Elvis' ex. An Olympic gold medalist. And an Academy Award-winning actress who happens to be deaf.

Oscar winner Marlee Matlin (Children of a Lesser God) tops the list of names on the new dance card for ABC's Dancing with the Stars, and in doing so takes over from Heather Mills (an amputee) to become the most unlikely person ever to compete on the runaway hit series. Here is the rest of the lineup of hoofers. Season 6 kicks off March 17. — Deborah Starr Seibel

I was really hoping the Sean Hayes rumor was true! I love him. I think it is a good line up, but nobody I'm too excited about!

I love Christian de la Fuente! And Kristi Yamaguchi lives in my town, so that's exciting too. Should be a fun season.

Per Adam Carolla on his radio show this AM, he is teamed with Julianne Hough. He's also flying out to Chicago to be on Oprah tomorrow.

:_|Are they kidding? My sister-in-law and I were SO hoping for somebody to pull for in this season, but this is what we get. For once, I may have to skip the show.

This should be interesting--I'm actually familiar with most of these people. I'm looking forward to seeing Kristi Yamaguchi, Marissa Jaret Winokur, and Marlee Matlin--as long as the judges don't comment on her being deaf EVERY TIME SHE DANCES.

Well, monkey65, you might as well get ready for that, 'cause they probably will. However, I've always loved Marlee Matlin, so I'm still looking forward to seeing what she can do. At least I have heard of about half of these people, unlike last time. Actually I've heard of all of the women except for Marissa Jaret Winokur, but the only men's names I recognize are Steve Guttenberg and Penn Jillette. But that's still better than last time.

I know, prplrose (love your name!) but I can always hope. It's probably futile, but I'm hard-headed; don't tell my husband that I actually admitted to it. LOL

Is it an illusion or did I just see the name Penn Gillette? Who cares about him as a dancer? Let him stay in Vegas what works in Vegas. Just watched "Dance Wars" and thought the entire show/season very entertaining. I don't think Drew made the best MC but the dancers who no one ever heard of were very talented and courageous. I hope they all do well and prosper. On "dancing" we will find out if Priscilla Presley has bigger lips than Lisa Rinna. wow these woman look weird and the king's wife will never look 62 with all the work she has had. What's next for her Nip/Tuck?

Kristi is the clear frontrunner. I already pencil her into the final 3 even without knowing her pro. I hope other stars stand out. I am also excited about Marlee and Marissa.
