Dancing Finale: The Golden Disco Ball Goes to...

The following contains spoiler information about Dancing with the Stars' finale show.

After a season of quicksteps, jives, cha chas — not to mention drama — Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas have become the new reigning champs of Dancing with the Stars! Although some may have predicted Tuesday's outcome, the competition was tight and the winning spot was up for grabs (OK, sort of up for grabs. Any other Kristi fans?).

If we forgot what the couples were up against, though, tonight we got the rundown of the entire season and all its competitors — plus a little love up in this club from Usher. Yes, Monica and Jonathan, Kym and Penn, Steve and Ana — they were all there for the proverbial "last dance" of the season, no matter where their original scores landed them. It was a great retrospective, but of course, the glory only goes to one couple.

Did you think it was the right one? Now that it's all said and done, time to hash it out!

Finally, after several seasons since Drew Lachey won -- I finally feel SO happy that the voting public got it right! To say that she was a given to win -- is just not true -- it was an incredible hurdle to overcome being a female celebrity -- no female celebrity has won since season 1 and that was when the show wasn't that popular.

I applaud all of you voters of Kristi and Mark for making the right choice!

YEA!!!!!!!!!!! Kristi WON!!! I am so happy! She did an amazing job every time and totally deserved the shinny ball! Marc too, he did a great job choreographing. All though I was surprised about Cristian going before Jason, but I am happy at the end result!! GIRL POWER!!! :)

I was worried for a moment there, since the public voted Cristián off before Jason. Thankfully, Kristi won fair and square. I am very happy that viewers of this season showed common sense and voted for the best dancer. I am glad to see an Olympic Gold Medalist set a good example for a change, after all the problems with so many other athletes.

Good for you, Kristi! You earned that ugly championship trophy! :-x

Yes the best dancer won but I think next season maybe they should not have any atheletes, first Emmit,Apollo,Helio, Kristi & Jason. These people are all very disciplined, goal orientated, eye of the prize types who I fell all have an advantage. They are used to grueling practices, listening to coaches,Making big sacrifices to achieve.
Why not have 1 season with all just atheletes in the future and next season have none. Just a thought.

So happy Kristi won! Maybe it is not gender thing but athletes are the sure thing. For change, I would like to see a non-athlete win next season. I wish Kristi just won because Mark as a pro is a bit much. I prefer if Kristi's sure win was given to another male pro, wish Maks was on this season and he was her partner.

I am happy Kristi won but wish Mark was not her partner. He choreographs to showcase himself, not his partner. He shows off, he makes those faces and wears the most outrageous costumes.

Yay Kristi! America got it right! Now if only David Cook could win American Idol tonight... but that's another story.

And to all the Mark haters - seriously?? I thought Mark & Kristi were a great pair! So yeah, his facial expressions were a bit over the top sometimes, but overall, I give him mega props for choreographing a great season. Although I love Maks, I don't think he & Kristi would have meshed nearly as well. Congrats to the champs, Kristi & Mark! :)
