General Hospital Actress Busted for DUI

And just like that, a starlet's career is "fast-tracked."

Kirsten Storms, aka General Hospital's Maxie, was busted for DUI over the weekend when a California Highway Patrol officer spied a lit cigarette being thrown from her blue Mercedes traveling on the Los Angeles Freeway. Storms was pulled her over, at which point the CHiP "noticed the odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from the vehicle," TMZ reports. Following several sobriety tests, Storms was arrested for DUI, taken to a Van Nuys jail and ultimately released on $5,000 bail.

But the most humiliating part? Having to face Uncle Mac afterwards.

Aw, I'm very sad to hear this. I've liked her since the Disney Channel movies and I'm sorry that she exercised such a lack in judgement to drink and drive.

I miss her at Days. I wish tvguide would hurry up and find a new reporter to start covering the soaps. I am thankful that you report on the actors, but it is only every now and then. We need our colum back !I miss Daniel !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not to mention Mac is not her uncle. He's her stepdad that raised her as his own. Yes, you do need to get a Soap correspondant.

They got it better than TMZ did. On that site, they posted it as 'Days Star Busted'... and she's been gone for HOW many years?

This is just stupidity on Kirtsen's part. Never an excuse for a DUI. Ever.

Gee - and here I was just wishing that more highway patrolmen pulled people over for throwing cigarette butts out of their cars..... I'm sincere about that! Why do people think a cigarette butt doesn't matter?

Poor Maxie. Like she's playing her character in real life. Where is Felicia when you need her? She needs to slap some sense into her. LOL!! I would love to work the soap news in TV Guide. I've watched GH, OLTL & AMC for decades. Let me know where to sign up.

I don't know if this is funny, but as soon as I read the headline, I immeadiately thought "Kirsten Storms!"

Well, I guess Zenon has grown up. (Speaking of... I hear Zenon 4 is on it's way!) lol

ha! I just had to laugh at the hypocrisy of this. Kirsten was a known PITA on Days as she and her mother kept harping about their very conservative Christian beliefs when it came to stories and whatnot. Now a DUI? Perfection.
