In the new thriller Vantage Point, Matthew Fox stars as a Secret Service agent assigned to protect the POTUS at all costs. But outside the studio, the Lost star admits that's a mission impossible (or rather improbable). "I would take a bullet for my family, but not for [anyone else]," Fox said at the film's Wednesday-night premiere in New York City, attended by costars Dennis Quaid and Forest Whitaker.
Fox is extremely protective of his family, and is currently raising his kids in Hawaii, an ocean away from the hustle and bustle of Hollywood. "My wife and I think it's important that we keep those two worlds as separate as possible," he explained. Since his acting projects as of late have not been the most kid-friendly, the little Foxes haven't seen their pop in action. But when his other new feature, Speed Racer, comes out in May, it will be a different story. Until then, he says, "I'm just Dad." — Perris Richter
