Meet the New Sherlock and Watson: Baron Cohen and Ferrell
It may be a stretch to picture the man who donned a neon man-kini as the dapper Sherlock Holmes, but Sacha Baron Cohen is nothing if not malleable in his roles. The brain behind Borat is set to play the fictional crime-solving legend, and is teaming up with Will Ferrell as his partner, Watson.
Judd Apatow and Jimmy Miller — the same team that first paired the actors in Talladega Nights — will be producing the comedy.
Cohen may not be making fun of anyone or even sipping Perrier this time around, but it's a mystery already just trying to envision such a wildly new take on the classic characters. Will the flick be totally brilliant, or too much of a reach? — Anna Dimond
