Bare Facts from Sarah Marshall's Jason and Kristen

Not since Bart Simpson revealed his doodle last summer has a cast been asked so many questions about full frontal nudity. The ensemble behind Forgetting Sarah Marshall was barraged with inquiries about Jason Segel's bare breakup at the Hollywood premiere of his movie.

"At one point there was a nylon sock involved," says costar Kristen Bell, who dumps Segel's character while he's in the nude. "I tell you, that draws more attention to it than you really need there, so we said, 'Ditch the sock, let's just pretend you're not naked.'"

Segel admits that the nudity was his idea, and that he discovered it's not easy being a guy in this case. "One of the great things about female nudity is that at least they have the comfort of knowing that men have all different kinds of preferences. There's not that many women out there who like small penises, but I think I came out all right. Let's see if I ever get a date."

Segel getting a date may have less to do with his choice (or lack) of attire and more to do with the fact that Sarah Marshall is based on all his bad dating experiences. "It's 10 years of hapless dating," he ruefully told reporters. "My relationship ends with me getting dumped and some woman driving away from my house wildly relieved to be free, and it just sounds like Cinco de Mayo in her car, like, 'Whoo!' But I'm seeking revenge tonight." — Carita Rizzo

Just saw the movie yesterday and was completely surprised (as well as everyone else) about the male nudity. But as a woman, I'm happy because I'm tired of seeing other woman naked on screen.

The times are changing. :D

Well, it is Judd Apatow.
For some reason, the words mansserie (or 'bro') and shrinkage come to mind, along with the birthing scene from Knocked Up and Mark Wahlberg's trophy scene from Boogie Nights.

Well the Boogie Nights thing was a prop. So I don't think that counts.

Personally I'll stick with the female nudity :)

Whether it was real or not, we can all agree that thing was a 'prop'.

Enough of all this double standard male frontal nudity !!!!! Where is the female frontal nudity ? And please don't tell me how women have been showing their breasts for years. Guys have been showing their bare behinds as well. Why is it that all you seem to see in today;s mainstream movies, plays, or new HBO series is male frontal nudity ?? As for me, until the powers to be realize that men would like to see as much female frontal nudity as male frontal nudity, I won't be back to the movies. It is time for men to make their feelings known.
