Jesse Plemons is moving on from his geeky teen ways of Friday Night Lights and heading down a new path of life — dealing the wacky tabacky!

Best known for his role as Landry Clarke on NBC's acclaimed FNL, Plemons will be playing the pot-dealing Jesus in the new indie comedy Shrink. Amongst his top clients is none other than Kevin Spacey. The cast also includes Robin Williams and Saffron Burrows.

The film follows Hollywood's A-list psychiatrist Henry Carter (Spacey) who turns to weed to deal with a personal tragedy. Only problem is all that doobage is affecting his ability to help his patients including a hasbeen actress, insecure young writer and a OCD agent. — Gina DiNunno

Jesse Plemmons can probably handle that role just fine. I just can't imagine my dear Landry - he of the awesome Crucivictorious - as a pot dealer!

Do I understand you correctly? Will Plemmons no longer be on Friday Night Lights? That would be heartbreaking news.

Best of luck to Jesse in all of his endeavours!

No this is just a movie. I'm sure Jesse will be great and can't wait to see him in season 3 of FNL.

He's always been my favorite guy on FNL (non-coach division). He seems the 'least likely' from the cast, yet he is popping up in a bunch of roles. He seems the busiest of the main cast.
His acting style is unusual, and I assumed FNL was his first real role, yet imdb lists a couple dozen shows he's been in. Congrats
