Harrison Ford has been cast as a "maverick" scientist who helps a young couple beat a corrupt pharmaceutical world in order to save their ailing children in Crowley, from CBS Films. Yes, you heard us right, CBS Films is producing movies for the big screen.

Ford will star and serve as one of the Executive Producers on the movie. He'll have to relinquish his Indy whip for a shiny new pocket protector as he takes on the role of the rogue scientist whose work has been ignored by the industry. However, the young parents, John and Aileen Crowley, somehow believe in this man's work and join forces with him to beat the corrupt system — and, of course, in order to treat their children for a rare genetic disorder. The story was adapted the Pulitzer-Prize winning book, The Cure, by Geeta Anand. — Erin Fox
