Eric Bana Shows Apatow the Funny

You can add Eric Bana to the cast of Judd Apatow's upcoming film Funny People. The pic, set in the world of standup comedy, follows a comedian who has a near-death experience.

Apatow is coproducing the film with Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions. Sandler has also signed to star in the pic along with Seth Rogen, Leslie Mann and Jason Schwartzman.

Production on Funny People starts in September and is scheduled for release next summer. — J.R. Whalen
