The Top 8: Who's Your Idol Now?

The following contains spoiler information about Wednesday night's American Idol results show.
No huge surprises this week. There may have been one or two others who could have been sent home, but there certainly is no arguing with America's latest decision. The Davids were of course safe, Carly's still more than solid, and you have to figure Jason can work the pretty eyes and charm for another round or two. So, after all was said and done tonight, as it boiled down to Kristy Lee, Brooke and Ramiele, it was the littlest lass who got sung off.
All of which is my long-winded way of saying: Who's your pick to win Idol now? Paula's got the Davids, Michael and Carly in her "final four." But is there a dark horse who could still ride up and steal a win? Vote here, and have your say in the next Power Rankings.

My Top 4: Jason, David Cook, Brooke, and Carly. And I think Cook is going to win.

Part of my top 4 would be David C., David A. (even though he's not one of my faves), and Carly. I think the 4th shot is between Michael, Brooke, & Jason and it just depends on who is consistent and how their fans are. Brooke & Jason have both been in the bottom 3 and Michael was looking rather bleak except for the last 2 weeks, so it's anyone's guess which of those 3 would slip in. I don't think Syesha or Kristy have a chance at the final 4. I think they'll be the next 2 to go.

I think that, unless something catastrophic happens, we've got the 2 David's FOR SURE...after that, I have no idea. I hope Carly...IDK...with Brooke and Jason both being in the bottom 3, it's hard to guess now. As long as it's a David-squared finale, I'm fine. They have the most talent (albeit, diverse talent).

My ideal top 3 would consist of:
David C.
David A.
Carly
The fourth spot is up for grabs between Brooke and Michael.

I definitely think Syesha and Kristy are the next to go. Haven't Carly, Brooke, and Jason all been in the bottom three? Has Michael?
I really think the top three will be David C., David A. and Michael. Carly will most likely be the fourth.
I do love Brooke, but I think she and Jason will follow Syesha and Kristy out the door. Not sure what order.

I think David C is going to be the next American Idol. David A will be close. Carly is great and so is Jason and Brooke. Syesha and Kristy will be gone next.
I personally know a lot of people that are saying Jason is only in it still because of his beautiful eyes and smile. I don't know what it is about him exactly but I love to listen to him sing. If I know he is coming up next I make sure I'm back in seat before he starts. I hope he goes all the way to the final three and comes out with a record deal in the near future

rami has this incredible voice that she just seemed to swallow in nonconfidence once she got in the top 12, by picking the wrong songs and arrangements. did she get any other feedback like this?

I personally thing Jason can work the VOCALS to stay in it for more than another round or two. I thought he was really good this week - not the best or his best, but strong nonetheless. And he's so freakin' likable - and not just for his face (although that certainly doesn't hurt).
I don't know who'll be in the "final four," or even the top five. But it's overwhelmingly obvious that the final two will be Cook and little Davey...and I'm wishing on every star there is that Archuleta prevails. I really don't think Cook is the "Idol"-winner type. Like Daughtry was, he'll be better off not winning.

The Davids and Carly will be Top 3, although I'd love to see Brooke in there instead of Archuleta, but the guy is way too popular.
The ideal final would definitely be Carly and David C, they are by far the most talented and original singers on the show.

I'm really starting to realize that although I enjoy watching the show, I can't envision myself buying any of these performers albums. That said, I think this is David Cook's to lose. Granted, we've seen the "obvious" winner stumped before, but I think this one's pretty far ahead in popularity. And while I'm no fan, I'd rather see him win than Carly.

I can't help but smile when Brooke performs. She just makes me happy.
I'd buy her albumn in a heartbeat!!
She is very talented and I would like to see her as an America's idol. Maybe the "Dark Horse".

I have been rooting for both David's since the top 24 were announced. Conversely, I have been hoping every week for a couple of months that Kristy Lee would be voted off! Kristy Lee sounds like a good karaoke country singer to me, nothing special. Brooke is fake, and Michael has just now begun to show what he can do, and that may have hurt him. I hope Carly doesn't get anywhere close to the top 4. She's a good singer, but she's had a recording contract before, so in my opinion, that doesn't make her an amatuer.
