We give David Archuleta credit for trying something not so ballad-y last night, but despite the adoring fans, Randy and Simon weren't really feeling his rendition of Chris Brown's "With You." Maybe because seeing the human equivalent of a miniature teddy bear singing lyrics like "I need you Boo" was hard to swallow. Simon actually went so far as to critique the 17-year-old by saying he was like "a Chihuahua trying to be a tiger." It sounded pretty good, but we have to say, we could have done without Seacrest's two cents. — Gina DiNunno
I can ALWAYS do without Seacrest's 2cents. This is why I have had to stop watching Idol. He ruins the show for me. So, I occassionally DVR it, just to stay current with the talent, and then speed through the Seacrest "junk". The minute he opens his very large mouth, I shut it up!
I've had it with Seacrest, too. Has anyone noticed how he puts his hands on David A's shoulders when they finish chatting after the judging? It looks like it is uncomfortable for David. Why do you think he does that? A little putdown?
