Millions of Claymates were beside themselves this morning when Idol's second season runner-up, Clay Aiken, debuted his new song "Coming Back for More" on GMA. It's amazing how a former Idol contestant who didn’t even win can still drum up hordes and hordes of fans after more than five years. Sure is a lot more than you can say for whats-his-face who actually won Season 2. Gina DiNunno
The song was not Coming Back For More but rather On My Way Here. I've been listening to this CD nonstop since yesterday morning and I absolutely LOVE it. There is not one song that I don't like. I highly recommend it.
The song that Clay is singing here and one of the songs he sang on GMA is "On My Way Here".... the title track of his new CD. It was not "Coming Back for More".
First of all, some corrections. The title of the song/album is ON MY WAY HERE. Then: Clay WAS the ACTUAL winner of AI2. 80 percent of the vote every week he was on makes him the winner in every shape and form. And 'what's-his-face's' name is Ruben Studdard. He is talented in his own right, just not enough for him to have become an 'IDOL'. And why are you questioning that Clay still a viable entertainer 'just' 5 years after he entered show business??? You don't think he is talented enough??? He has more talent in his pinky than most of the AI contestants put together. And many of the contestants who didn't even come in the top 5 will be having very long careers in show business, too! Clay will be around for a very long time. Do you think Ashley Simpson should still be a viable entertainer??? She can't sing a note on key unless it is corrected in the studio. Brother, who writes your copy in here????
Hoo Boy, are you going to catch some heat for your faux pas! Yes, you must know by now that Clay's new cd and single is "On My Way Here". ("Back For More" was a song Clay sang on a concert tour...a great song that is lost forever, I'm afraid.) Clay is still viable after five years because he oozes talent and charisma, is a hard worker, and is an all around genuine nice guy. His recent stint on Broadway in Spamalot wowed the audiences and the critics alike. He is verra verra talented! You are forgiven but please, get a new fact checker.
