Have you been waiting for word on when you can rush out to buy High School Musical 2? Well, the wait is over. Disney has just announced that they'll release the set on Dec. 11. This is the extended edition, running 111 minutes and including a never-before-seen music sequence, rehearsal footage and music videos. You can sing lead vocals with "High School Karaoke!"

Suggested retail price for the DVD is $29.99, or $34.99 for the Blu-ray.
Update: Amazon.com is now preselling the DVD for $17.99, or the Blu-ray disc for $24.49. You'll need a Blu-ray player to watch that version, but it's in high definition, and should look amazing!
