Jeers: Lindsay Lohan Gets Ugly

Jeers to Ugly Betty for Lindsay Lohan's tune-in-two-minutes-late-and-you'll-miss-it cameo. The tabloid target tried to rehabilitate her image with a role in a high-school flashback as a mean girl who uses Betty (America Ferrera) as a "human shield" in a game of dodgeball, but she made no impact. (Naomi Campbell also struck out with a self-mocking appearance as herself in a softball scene.) Word is LiLo will return to the ABC comedy for a multi-episode arc next season, but after this anticlimactic sneak preview, I'd sooner look forward to Herbie: Fully Loaded 2.

I haven't watched yet. My favorite Betty cameo has been Posh... I can see why they want her back, she was hilarious going up against Willy.

That was really lame. I kept expecting her to show up on the ELLE team. And she didn't. Maybe she was too drunk to film more scenes. I'd also Jeer the overall underwhelming nature of that episdoe AND the cheesy CGI ending where they placed her QUEENS home in DUMBO BROOKLYN. Note to Hollywood, buy a map!

Considering this was just the set-up for next season's story arc, don't you think you were being a bit harsh? Sheesh! Personal dislike getting in the way of professional ability to critique much?

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I'm glad her appearance was only 2 minutes long. That way I didn't have to worry about vomiting through the entire show. I am not looking forward to having to sit through her "multi-episode arc". She's overstayed her 15 minutes. Her "career" is on life-support and we really need Kervorkian - STAT !!

I think you're all being a little too rough. Yes, the cameo was very short, but that's what a true cameo is. She won't really be featured until next season, but at least this cameo served as an introduction to Kimberly. Considering how resistant so many people were to Lohan's casting, I'd think those people would be glad that she didn't "taint" the episode for more than two minutes. Go figure.

Actually, I DID miss it, it was so short. I was hoping they just decided to cut her, but no such luck. I'm tired of hearing about her, and having her on the show is going to make me want to watch the show LESS, not more.
