Jeers: No New Runway? That's Criminal!

Jeers to CBS and Bravo for snubbing viewers with ill-timed reruns of Criminal Minds and Project Runway. After advertising a new episode of Minds guest-starring Joe Mantegna's real-life daughter, Gina, the network pulled it at the last minute in favor of a repeat of Joe's debut from October. (For this, we can blame — all together now — the ongoing writers' strike.) And while I can understand why Bravo wouldn't want to waste a fresh Runway during the week between Christmas and New Year's, why air a rerun on December freaking 19th? Good thing I had The Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency on my DVR or else I would've suffered serious fashionista withdrawal!

I know! I was bummed to discover that Project Runway was a repeat tonight.

Wasn't CSI:NY supposed to be new too? There is so little to watch now...you would think that CBS would try to grab new viewers this week. I had to watch Van Wilder instead. Now THAT is a crime.

Big JEERS to CBS. Not only was Criminal Minds a repeat when it was billed as new, but also NCIS and CSI:NY. I had to go set my DVR to record "all with duplicates." If the real episodes air within 28 days, my previous setting would have ignored them because it thought it had already recorded it.

This is all soooo confusing. Now we don't know, and can't trust listings, when the new shows will air. I will be away until January 5 and my DVR will only tape for a week in advance. Sigh.... oh well.

So there I was, all settled down for my long winters last night of new programming (CM and CSI:NY) for the foreseable future... OK, just two hours of the long winters... you get the idea... AND I GET RERUNS????? WTH? This is not in the spirit of the season! Just wrap up last years sweater and give it to me again, why don't ya? This is regifting at it's worst!!!!

I completely agree! What with all the crap and repeats on TV, Project Runway is the one show I look forward to watching right now, and I was sorely disappointed that they ran a repeat so early in the season.

And Bravo's website even LISTED it as a new episode (Eye Candy). My DVR showed it as a repeat, but I recorded it as a just in case scenario.... BOO!!!
