Jeers: I'm in Celebrity Rehab — Get Me Out of Here!

Jeers to The Celebrity Apprentice and Celebrity Rehab for sticking too closely to the same casting formula. Think about it: Both shows have featured a Baldwin brother (Stephen and Daniel), a Taxi vet (Marilu Henner and Jeff Conaway), a rocker (KISS' Gene Simmons and Crazy Town's Seth "Shifty" Binzer), an Ultimate Fighter (Tito Ortiz and Ricco Rodriguez), an adult-entertainment icon (ex-Playmate of the Year Tiffany Fallon and porn star Mary Carey), a "Family" member (The Sopranos' Vincent Pastore and Family Matters' Jaimee Foxworth) and a one-named Surreal Life alum (Omarosa and Chyna). And oh yeah, Brigitte Nielsen was a Surreal Lifer, too! Maybe all these "celebrities" should do a show called "Reality Rehab."

I refuse to live in a world where there is a television show called Celebrity Rehab.
You made that one up, right?

In Jamee Foxworth they got both a "family" member and another adult entertainment icon. Look up the name "Crave" in IMDB.

Good point about Foxworth (I didn't know she was in My Baby Got Back 29!). I could've added one more parallel between boxer Lennox Lewis and Rocky IV vet Nielsen, but I thought that would be a stretch...

I thought this show was going to be just like the other "reality" shows on VH1 - a lot of fluff and not much else. I tuned in on a rebroadcast the first week and surprised how much grit they are showing. The show actually seems to be way above VH1 standards. I think many of our current slate of celebrities and celebutants should watch this and consider themselves warned of what could be in store for them.
