Cheers: From the White House to House

Janel Moloney by Mark Lipson/FOX
Cheers to Janel Moloney for proving there's life after The West Wing. The former Bartlet Administration staffer delivered a brave dramatic turn on House as a single mother battling a mysterious disease that caused partial paralysis, temporary blindness and — in the episode's ickiest scene — bleeding eyes. This high-profile guest shot comes on the heels of Moloney's impressive change-of-pace role on Showtime's Brotherhood as a politician's coldhearted mistress. George W. Bush can only hope for such a successful post-White House career.

JEERS to the FOX Network for airing this Christmas episode at the end of January! What were they thinking? Did they have too much programming to fit it in?

IDIOTS!

I think they held it because they wanted to parcel out the few new episodes during the strike, but yeah, all the Christmas references were a bit disconcerting. And the Secret Santa subplot was kinda lame. Plus, they certainly didn't give fans who want more of Chase, Cameron and Cuddy and less of the newbies any Christmas presents!

I really enjoyed the end where Foreman waved the 3 newbies over to join him, Cameron and Chase. As House looked them over, he seemed a tad bit nervous at the grouping. Can House handle 6 against 1? It will be fun to find out.

It was great to see Janel Moloney again! Somebody get her a show, please!

The Christmas-theme didn't bother me much. I'm so behind in viewing, this is usually when I would be watching a lot of the Christmas fare, anyway. Also, it's a Fox tradition. When was the last time they aired a Simpsons Hallowe'en episode before Hallowe'en? ;)

I love House and West Wing, I like the new people, especially Mr. White Castle Kumar. I wish I had a doctor as honest and direct as Doc. House, it is refreshing, these days you must ask 20 questions because they are so afraid to be sued if they give bad advice or comment on weight etc. Even though it could factor in health problems. House rocks!
