Cheers: 30 Rock — No. 1 With a Ballot

Cheers to 30 Rock for not being afraid to rock the boat — or the vote. The Emmy-winning sitcom has always gleefully bitten the corporate hand that feeds it, satirizing NBC and its parent company, GE. But during the election campaign, 30 Rock's gags have turned surprisingly political, taking shots at Rudy Giuliani, John McCain and President Bush (Jack Donaghy, who took a job with the administration alongside Matthew Broderick's king-of-denial Cooter Burger, proudly referred to Dubya not as a "lame duck" but a "lame eagle"). Something tells me Tina Fey misses writing "Weekend Update."

Cheers to 30 Rock! This show is innovative. The writing is smart and the acting is great. The season finale with Matthew Broderick was laugh out loud funny. I hope he comes back next season. I wish I had 100 Nielson boxes in my house. I'd sit my 18-49 year old male self right in front of all of them and have each one tuned to 30 Rock. This show needs to be watched.

I'm a 30 Rock fan, but I didn't think this episode was particularly funny, honestly.
