Summary of scoop for hearing/technology impaired (may be wrong/incomplete):
On the 4/24 episode of Lost, there will be an "amazing death sequence". The smoke monster will also return in that episode (which may/may not be related to the death).
Most of the vodcast was an interview with HIMYM's Josh Radnor (the actor who plays Ted Mosby, Architect):
Chances for renewal are looking better.
He doesn't know who the mother is and doesn't ask.
He doesn't know if Britney will be back, but Sarah Chalke will be.
Britney's agent approached the show about her guest appearance, not the other way around.
It's sometimes hard to keep from laughing at his co-stars during filming.
While more people are asking him who the mother is, still more are telling him that they love the show.

Deaf Guy here: Thanks, I appreciate the recap. Mike has Interns . How hard is it for them to take five minutes to write a full transcript? At the very least it'd save your fingers!

I enjoyed the vodcast this week, Michael! I'm puzzled, though (and perhaps a little too unhip). Does nka mean 'not known as' one of my favorite famous people alive??? Am I to believe you're not a Radnormaniac!?!?

Gord--maybe it means "now known as". Or "newly known as".
As to your hipness, or lack thereof, I won't speculate. However, I use the word "hip" myself, which I assume means that I am not. LOL

tewcewl, I tried to send this to you, but your page has no way to send you a message, so I'll make this brief,
An example of CC's on an Internet video --- it IS possible. Just click on the CC icon, if you don't want them, don't click
Sorry for the OT, everyone

NKA is probably just a typo for AKA.

monkey65, 'tis better to be hip than to be cool. Hipness lasts longer. (Unfortunately, as we age, broken hips become a possibility, too).
tewkewl, I'm not making any editorial judgments on kewlness, only coolness.
GimplyGump, even though I'm a hearer, I would like to see CCs on here, too, for blog-pals like you and tewkewl. How about it, TV Guide?

I doubt you'll ever see them on the 2 or 3 minute snippets. MY point was the annoying on-line re-aired episodes (aka Lost episodes on ABC.com). I mean they have them anyway... Best I'll wager we can hope for is a true transcription.
At least until Star Trek-like voice recognition software comes about.

You're so right, GG--why not include CC on the online airings? It makes sense to me. I wouldn't mind captions on the videos here, either, for when I watch them late at night, or while others are watching TV. Or for when my son leaves a game running that has no mute option.
On another note, re: Michael's edit of his text--woohoo, I was right! What do I win?

Michael, by "now known as", do you mean...
Not Only We Knuckleheads Need Our Weekly Newsy Ausiello Scoop
(...Josh Radnor does, too...)

Okay, that wasn't too cool, but it was fairly hip.

TVGord, I'd wager it was neither.
But as for something both extremely cool and utterly hip: How I Met Josh Radnor (AKA it'll be hard to top him as my favorite famous person alive). I live in South Orange County and went to a local movie theater with my family for our traditional Christmas night movie out together. Mere hours earlier, I'd just opened a HIMYM season 2 DVD...my favorite gift of the day. As I stepped foot into the lobby and handed the worker my ticket, who was standing there but Ted Mosby, Architect in all his mid-strike Breakup-Bearded glory. Now, I know it was Christmas evening, and I know it was a bit stalker-ish of me. But what's a girl to do. One of my favorite characters in one of my favorite shows of all time was standing before me...on Christmas, in Aliso Viejo! It's like Baby Jesus himself brought the gift to me. I gathered the courage and dragged my sister (an avid fan of the show, thanks to my relentless persuasion) with me to request a photo op. Josh was unbelievably nice. He shot his hand right out to us, "Hi, I'm Josh...(as if we didn't know)...It's really nice to meet you." We chatted about the show and how much the fan base has grown and about the seemingly unending strike, and then we thanked him and parted ways (attempting to covertly figure out which theater he was headed to). In the end, I got the Best Christmas Picture Ever and he gained a lifelong fan. Only thing that could have made it any more legendary is if he'd been there to see a movie with NPH, Jason and the girls.
And yeah, props to Josh for not running at top speed from a crazed fan on Christmas in front of what appeared to be his family member. Josh, serious cool points to you.
