A debilitating writers' strike couldn't derail the 14th-annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, so you think a little mood swing from Mother Nature was going to scare anyone off? Please. Thanks to a few football-field-sized tents, Hollywood was back to doing what it does best: Getting all dolled up and patting itself on the back. And, by extension, that allowed me to get back to doing what I do best: Trolling the red carpet for scoop. Some highlights:
• John Krasinski breaks "news" about a Jim-Pam wedding and a "possible" Office/30 Rock crossover. (Those quotation marks will make sense when you view the clip.)
• Desperate Housewives' James Denton reveals to me exclusively that a major story arc planned for the second half of the season has been scrapped due to the strike.
• The Closer's Jon Tenney drops a scooplet on Season 4.
• News of a real-life pregnancy throws The Office's Rainn Wilson into a tailspin.
• Justin Chambers weighs in on a possible Alex-Izzie reunion on Grey's Anatomy, while his costar Sara Ramirez hints that there still may be hope for Callie and George.
