Quick summary for the video-impaired (done from memory; apologies for any gaps):
LG's development deal with NBC was a strike casualty (but MB is still hoping she lands on The Office).
CSI is casting a recurring female character who will be working at a diner and going to school; Gary Dourdain's departure will be "memorable."
Lots of Brothers and Sisters stuff; I'm sorry, but I don't know the show well enough to provide details, but one couple will be dodging an "incest bullet," and another one will be going to jail and answering questions about his sexuality ("in that order").
The SVU stuff is just a pitch for the current issue of TV Guide, with a note that it contains a spoiler for next season featuring the words "Benson, Stabler, and mesh."

FTR, in an interview at this link:
http://community.comcast.net/comcastportal/blog/article?message.uid=1683536 (which I linked through from www.gilmoregirlsnews.com )
Graham says that she ended her NBC-Uni contract just before the strike started because she didn't like the scripts she was getting.
I'm on dial-up (I live out in the sticks in Central MO), so I'm curious to hear/read if there's a discrepancy between the comcast interview and this new MA interview.
So wassup wi'dat?
Thanks, Rob

Well, Michael, I think you should send a little birdie over to talk to Dick Wolf...imagine Lauren Graham playing the new ADA on SVU! Lauren and Mariska on the same show...would you be over the moon or what?

thanks for the update - I can't have the volume on @ work - it's too obvious that I'm not working when others can hear what I'm watching. wish MA would have it all transcribed for us. thanks again!

Laz -- go to the comcast interview link that I put up in my previous post in this thread. Lauren says that she doesn't want to do a forensics procedural due to not wanting to speak dry dialogue (ie: expository technobabble which bores most actors to death).
HTH.

I think you are a little behind with that scoop about Lauren. So you should maybe stop calling it a scoop. She revieled it herself couple days before. And guess who I believe more? yeah, Lauren.

Graham is hugely overrated.
The only thing shes ever done is have witty banter with a 16 yr old girl.
Thats good acting?
Her best role is in Bad Santa.

I don't understand why people think she is so good. I can not name one movie or TV program which she was in that was considered a success. Writers have made her sound and look great.
IMO, she is the female David Caruso: more lucky than talented,
