Grey's Scoop: Addison Returns to Seattle Grace!

Addison's back!

Private Practice's extended post-strike hiatus has freed up Kate Walsh to return to her old Grey's Anatomy stomping ground this spring, an ABC spokesperson confirms. The actress will appear in at least one of the five new Grey's episodes slated to begin airing April 24. The story was first reported by EW.com.

There's no word if any of Addison's Oceanside Wellness cronies will be following her to Seattle Grace, but I'm guessing not. Damn hospital's too crowded as it is. It'll be nice to have Doc Monts back though, even for a brief visit.

It will, right?

Yeaaayyyy Addie's back!! If only temporary but I LOVE Addison. I hope she bring back Pete to make McSteamy, McDreamy & Alex pea green w/ envy!! :)

I wish she could stay in Seattle permanently. I loved Addison for the strong woman she was in Seattle and he great storylines. She is all of a sudden timid and shaky in LA. PP could do without her. Bring her back where she belongs, on GA forever.

God how I hope this means the Big Toothed Nurse will be gone. IT'S NOT ALL MEREDITH'S FAULT! Derek plays the victim way too frickin much and I can't help but hope Addison will knock some sense into his self-important @ss.

In all seriousness, I hope that she stays for good! While I love me some Taye Diggs, I hope that Private Practice is gone for good so that our Addison can return to Greys!

Awesome! Grey's really hasn't been the same since she left, so even a brief re-appearance will give some life back into the flabby series. Huzzah!

I'll just quote a girl I totally agree with about Addsion's return:

YAY! Hopefully she is back to kick Derek up the a$$ and knock some sense into him! Remember she told Derek not to hurt Mer again, ha wait till she sees him with THE PLANT!!! Hope she slaps her silly!

Yay! This is great news. Now I have a reason to get excited about Greys. I don't love PrP (well I do like Addison with the cop), but I love Addison on GA. LOVE LOVE LOVE. So excited. I wish they hadn't crapped all over the Addisex storyline as that was my very favorite pairing this show ever had, and a part of me hopes to see some old sparks fly with her return, but I know that it will probably be something with McSteamy, most likely. The whole Alex suddenly falling for Ava when all season long he seemed like he was falling for Addison turned me off GA, and I hate that he didn't "notice" like he promised. They had amazing chemistry, unlike Alex and Ava and Addison and Pete.

I'm so stoked! I miss Addison. I haven't really watched Private Practice because it's on as the same time as Gossip Girl. It wouldn't break my heart if PP was cancelled and Addison came back to Seattle for good.

Yay!! I don't think GA has been the same without Addison. I really want Addison and Karev together.I don't really like Ava. I like Private Practice, but I always thought Addison was awsome on GA.
I hope this doesn't mean the end of Private Practice because I love. Perhaps Kate can do both shows.

Addison was one of the stars of Grey's from the minute she walked on. Her character can kick Meredith and Izzie's asses anytime.

Between Addison, Bailey, Christina and Callie, Grey's rocked. I could seriously do without Mer and Izzie. And the men were really only good for looking at, except for George before the whole Izzie nonsense.

Keep Addison on Grey's forever and send Meredith and Izzie to LA.
