CBS isn't talking, but reliable sources say that the Eye net has dropped the C-bomb on Jericho.

Those same sources are telling me that the show's exec producer Carol Barbee is thisclose to a deal to join one of CBS' new fall pilots as show-runner.

If this is true, my world has ended.

This is horrible!!!

Let's really hope that Michael is wrong on this one.

I'll trade CSI: Miami and Criminal Minds for Jericho any day!!!

This just sucks. I really wish networks would give shows a break and bring them back (even if for shortened seasons) just to resolve story lines.

Hell, why not make this a mid season replacement or a summer show? At least for one more year so the writers could resolve some of the cliffhangers.

Noooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!

This is my first cancellation of the season. I now understand what you others who have lost shows are going through. :(

Please let the sources be wrong. Jericho is too good to go. I swear, if How I Met Your Mother goes, I am abandoning CBS. Not that it's difficult, with the incredibly awful lineup they have.

If this is in fact true, it's crap! CBS treated this show horribly. they took it off the air right in the middle when it was gaining an audience and then act like it's the end of the world if it loses numbers. It deserved to have a 2nd season. It was the only show I watched on CBS, so I guess I don't need that channel anymore. I hope something happens overnight that changes this.

Surprise, surprise. I had a bad feeling that was going to happen, especially once FNL was renewed. I just knew I wouldn't get both of them back.

The sad part is that I think it's their own fault Jericho wasn't doing as well as they wanted. If they hadn't had that WAY TOO LONG break, it would have held up much better. They must have had too many new procedurals in the works to give it another chance without that overlong hiatus.

Yup, the hiatus killed it. It also didn't help that the show's return from hiatus aired against American Idol. Between those two things, it's a miracle the show even got the numbers it did.

It'd take time to gain momentum again or to at least finish up the storylines. CBS owes it to the show and its fans to let it go for another season.

NOoooooooo....... This really sucks, I love Jericho. I hope that Michael is wrong on this one, if not we'll never know what happens to Jericho. And all after we found out for sure that Heather is still alive.

CBS spent a lot of time and energy developing an online presence for a show they barely supported. Some of us grew to love these characters, but I guess that doesn't matter when the network is poorly mismanaged. I guess original plots do not have a place at CBS - why should they when you can continue to clone CSI?

At least CBS is consistent - they have Katie Couric and other unoriginal programming. Hurray for ABC and Cable TV. CBS should close its doors.

I'm so disapointed if this is true. The show was really becoming something... :( :(

I think the finale itself could have killed the show.

First, in the previews the week before they show Heather. What?? I'm all for spoilers, but that pretty much ruined her coming back, because it was obvious it was happening. I came in late on the show but went back and watched it from the beginning. I figured she had been written off the show and then was blatantly shown that she is going to come back.

Second, the finale was a bit of a let and now even more of a let down with the cancellation. It builds up to when all the action will occur, and then ends. I expected the war to occur in the finale and now we will never see it.

Nothing wrong with the show in general..but these are the flaws of the show that bugged me

I'm seriously tearing up over here! How could they cancel it and leave us hanging with that killer finale! The end of this season was wonderful. I really should just stick with stupid reality shows...
