Exclusive: Weeds High On Matthew Modine

Weeds is sweetening the pot in its third season.

Sources confirm that Matthew Modine is joining the cast for a 10-episode arc. He'll play a real-estate developer who's building a new community next to Agrestic. And in between bong hits, he'll be romancing both Mary-Louise Parker and Elizabeth Perkins — although probably not at the same time. The show's called Weeds, not Nip/Tuck.

Can't wait for season three. Still tripping over the season 2 finale. This should be a comedy you guys discuss in the Podcast when it airs. Season 2 was fantastic. Kevin Nealon and Elizabeth Perkins will deserve their Emmy nominations this year - their twisted relationship was gold in Season 2. This is one of the few excellent comedies on the air still and is still better than "Entourage". (Unless they keep Carla Gugino around!!!)

Good, I want something/someone to stand in the way of Nancy and Conrad's inevitable romance. At least until the last season.

Does anyone know when we can expect Season 3? I am dying to know what is going on!! I also read that Carrie Fischer is going to be in Season 3 and Zooey Dechanel will be back, any truth?

I really like this show& looking forward for new season..Last year was a hoot!!! I also like brotherhood!!!However I still MAD that Showtime cancelled Huff
