Exclusive: One Tree Hill Adds Another Beautiful Person

It's official: One Tree Hill is obsessed with beautiful people and Beautiful People.

Just weeks after Daphne Zuniga, who starred as the matriarch on the short-lived ABC Family soap, was added to the cast, producers have tapped her daughter on that show, Torrey DeVitto, to do a multi-episode arc.

The two actresses probably won't cross paths on the Hill, though. Zuniga will be involved in Brooke's storyline, while DeVitto will be playing the nanny looking after Nathan and Haley's son, James (although I hear her eye will wander elsewhere).

It happened again: I made it through another OTH item without making a single snide comment about the show. What is wrong with me?!

Torrey DeVitto was really good on Beautiful People so I'm anticipating her debut on OTH and besides that she's pretty HOT.

Funny. The other daughter on that show was a dead ringer for Sophia Bush.

oh god *rollingeyes*...seriously this show has to much drama for it to be real..it use to be my favorite show but somehow Mark lost track of what this show is really about and made it a train wreak...placing his favoritisms to "certain characters" coughpeytoncough over a good quality story line...I mean his biggest star on the show is Sophia yet he doesn't show case that and just ends up giving her no story line at all and turns the show into one peyton hill...I seriously believe that Season 5 will be the last..who knows it might just be canceled mid season like the OC..cause i don't think fans can take more of this crap...and it's even better for me, like that Sophia can get out of this stink of a show and get into a good quality show

and to the person above this comment...sorry but Sophia is WAYYYYYYYYYYY more beautiful then that girl and I find it an insult to even compare her as "a dead ringer"

i agree with marys25. peyton has way too much storyline and brooke is treated like a red-headed stepchild. it's bad enough peyton gets the guy, she has to get all the good storylines, too? lucas doesn't deserve brooke anyways. hillary burton is a bad casting call and she drags the whole show with her bad acting. she's just too unbelievable and her character is full of drama that she can't seem to convey on camera. i'm really starting to hate this show and i'll jump into mike's bandwagon...this is a big pile of brown stinky stuff!

This show is a good, brain numbingly guilty pleasure of mine. As long as you don't become one of those fans who take it seriously (and I most highly doubt you will) you're ok, we won't pack you off to the loony bin just yet.

Yep I'm not surprised about the casting, it's always been about the pretty. Certainly not about the plots (which are as OTT as DOOL) or acting.

As for the tween posting by marys25, I find you insulting being insulted by the Sophia simply being compared to Torey. Let alone your rant on why it's gone down hill as they don't use 'the star'. Sophia's a pretty decent actress, particularly in comic situations. But she's no future Emmy Award winner either - some of her scenes have been cringe worthy and very laughable. She's just as bad as the rest of the cast, and characterwise I have found Brooke to be used more than half of them. Yes Peyton undoubtably gets more screentime but on the other hand she gets more then Nathan, Hayley, Rachel & Mouth.
