Exclusive: Prison Break Nabs Rescue Me's Sheila
Callie Thorne -- aka Rescue Me nutcase Sheila -- is joining Prison Break for a multi-episode arc, sources confirm. She'll play Pam, the estranged wife of William Fichtner's Mahone -- a role I first told you about in Ask Ausiello. Per my Prison mole, the character will be introduced in Episode 9 when Michael meets up with Pam in an attempt to uncover some dirt on his mad pursuer. (Hint: He finds some.) And in what marks a bit of a breakthrough for Thorne, Pam is not cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs. That's right, Thorne is playing a character who's not crazy. Stop the presses!
In other casting news, I'm told Krista Allen is joining ABC's retooled What About Brian for at least six episodes.

Last time I looked, Callie Thorne played a fairly sane, if a little annoying, detective on Homicide: Life on the Streets. That was my first introduction to her, and where I choose to remember her from. (Since Homicide is one of the greatest shows ever.)

So does this mean Sheila died in the fire on Rescue Me? Or will she be back to drug and manipulate in the future since this is just a story arc?

I love this actress! She is FANTASTIC in Rescue Me and I do hope she will be back next season, but man oh man that season finale did not look good for her character. I think she could do both shows though since Rescue Me has always been a summer show.
