Exclusive: Friday Night Lights Signs Melrose Alum
In what amounts to another big score for Friday Night Lights' resident man-whore, Melrose Place alum Brooke Langton is joining the cast as a love interest for Riggins (Taylor Kitsch), sources confirm. Langton's character — a single mom who moves in next door to Riggins — first shows up at the end of sweeps. The little cradle robber's on board for at least four episodes.
Speaking of FNL, there's a new episode on tonight. To the uninitiated, please watch.... And spread the word. I really need this show to come back next season. My health and well-being depend on it.

Michael, me and you both, man. If this show doesn't come back for a second season, it will be a shame. A real shame.
Brooke Langton is a good choice, but you're right, "cradle robbing" indeed.

Brooke Langton?!? She was the worst actress on MP, and that takes a lot! There are so many better choices than her (why not Laura Leighton if they wanted a MP alum?). Seriously, I love FNL, but they need to beef up the female actresses. Aside from Connie Britton, none of them could act their way out of a paper bag!

As for FNL - totally fantastic show that everyone should be watching, and sharing and telling friends and family about - yes it is that good!!!

I'm with Michael, this show is getting better and better. The "Nevermind" episode is where the show really broke through for me, great drama. Ohyeah, and Connie Britton is so hot.

I think the girl who plays Julie on FNL is pretty good, I wouldn't say she can't act her way out of a paper bag.
Such a great show, I really hope it comes back.

I don't know how else to say it except that this show just feeds my soul. I'm a middle-aged mom of two boys that play football, so I get the whole small town football thing, but this show is so much more than that. And that Riggins.... Yummmmmm.
I don't know, I keep telling people how great it is -- it's not just about football, etc. -- but it's just hard to get people to watch it. All we can do is keep trying!

I tell everyone I know to watch this show. It's so damn good! Every week, I yell out at the TV how much I love this show!
Also, are you watching Two-a-Days? It isn't exactly Friday Night Lights good, but it is fun and addictive!
